And now, a little Jaya for those who ship 'em. ;)
Their daughter's name is Akemi, by the way. :D
Disclaimer: I do not own Ninjago.
Jay ducked behind a snow-coated log as the ball of compacted snow flew by his face. He chuckled, then began patting snow into snowballs. He made a stash, then he stretched, listening for a moment. All he could hear was the stifled laugh of his wife and daughter plotting their next move.
He thought about charging in. If he did, he would probable take Akemi by surprise, but she was smarter than that. Should he wait? Nah, he wanted to see the look on her face. He scrambled together all of his snowballs and rushed into action.
Nya was hiding somewhere in the woods. He kept running, listening to her muffled giggles. She had to be close.
Suddenly, Jay felt something cold hit the back of his neck. He grunted, then turned, but saw nothing. Then, something tackled him from behind.
He saw a blur of red, and instantly knew it was not Nya, but his daughter.
"Aaaahhh!" Jay yelled, exaggerating his cry immensely. He felt snow being shoved down his coat.
Akemi giggled. "I goh da da!" She yelled.
Nya swooped in and picked up her daughter, and Jay picked himself up. His cheeks and the tip of his nose were red.
"You got me!" Jay said, bopping his daughter's nose. She laughed, and Nya smiled at her daughter.
"Ma...I col!" The girl said, shivering.
"You're cold? It looks like your daddy is cold, too," Nya said.
"Yeah," Jay shivered. "I say we go inside to get some hot chocolate."
"Ha cholate?" Akemi said, her face brightening up.
"Hot chocolate sounds nice!" Nya agreed, and the family headed back inside.

The three sat around the fire, covered in blankets and holding mugs. Akemi sipped hers thoughtfully.
"Warm..." she said.
Nya giggled, pulling her into her lap. "Are you nice and toasty?" She asked.
"Nice an toasy!" Akemi agreed.
Jay smiled at her. Her scooted closer to Nya. She leaned her head on his shoulder as they watched their daughter.
"Jingul bells, jingul bells, jingul all da way," Akemi sang softly.
Nya smiled, listening to her daughter. Jay watched her as she climbed out of her mom's lap and began singing.
He whispered into Nya's ear, "Merry Christmas, love."
"Merry Christmas to you, too," and the two kissed lightly.
Aw. Cute!
