ETHINE: I swung my chains . Warning him. Daring him to hurt either of them. Amine frozen in fear hangs from the juggalos arm. A stained blade pressed to his throat. The black chains clipped to the juggalos belt are circling Avily's wrists. My eyes scanned her. I can stomach the black halo but what unsettled me was her eyes pure black. As if her pupils were bleeding. The juggalo ginned a I win smile. My hand tightened on the chain. My brother tensed and Avily's smile widened. The solid black of her eyes faltered and fuchsia crept in , the black dispelled it. Behind me I heard a crackle of electricity and I jumped turning. In that short time all three of them are gone.

AVILY: A horrible pressure is in my head. What i see is warped I can't find any patterns.

"VEA STOP!" Amine screams. This cry isn't enough.

"VEA STOP PLEASE! WE HAVE TO FIND ETHINE!" he said through a scream in obvious pain. I startle a bit as the pressure in my head dissipates

"Amine?" I said. He's passed out in the chair. I shook his shoulder until he woke up. He flinches. Then sees the hurt expression on my face and i shield my face with my hands.

"NO! don't apologize i need to stay away from people, i hurt everyone i get close to! i terrify them ! people who get close to me end up hurt or dead! im a freak , a-a-monster. just dont ple-" I don't finish I saw them a silver flash . I tackled amine the bullets hitting me instead one near my stomach one in my leg one grazed my shoulder. I fell , consciousness slipping away.

ETHINE: i heard pounding and turned around amine has rust red tears streaking his face he's yelling ' open the door!' over and over . I unlocked it stepping in and gasped as i saw the mess of fuchsia blood. Amine is on the floor my matesprit cradled in his arms.

"she saved my life…." He mumbled in eyes fluttered open half way.

AVILY: I opened my eyes halfway.

I-I- meant... none of what i said ….before." I said softly before passing out again.

ETHINE:i bolted upright in bed gasping a scream stuck in my throat. i layed back looking at avily sleeping beside me her fang buried in her lip. i lightly brushed my fingers across her mouth her jaw relaxes. releasing her lip. Her hand moved up and claimed mine. I pressed her hand to my lips watching her sleeping face as i continued to breathe irregularly.
