AN: Inspired from a conversation with my sister about how Aizen only ever walks in her Bleach game, making it annoying to play as him. We then came to the realization that Aizen would have totally won the war if he had just run- hell, walked a little faster and not taunted Ichigo's friends- to his destination. So his loss was totally his own fault.

Sprint

Inspired By Tite Kubo's Bleach

On the edges of the real Karakura Town Aizen paused to take a breath and smirk, his eyes closing briefly in satisfaction. Once he opened his eyes again he exhaled and moved his foot forward before promptly breaking into a quick sprint towards the mass of buildings. His silver-haired companion gave a small yelp of surprise and began to run after him, confusion tainting his expression.

He yelled ahead as they entered the town, "Lord Aizen, why are you running?"

The long-haired brunette didn't even bother to glance back, "I'm making sure I win this war."

"But," Gin huffed, "nobody is a threat to you anymore! Not even that Substitute Soul Reaper, Kurosaki, has enough nerve to fight against us now!"

His lord scoffed, passing by a small clutter of surprised and confused looking people that were still awake without even bothering to stop so he could taunt and threaten them, "I'm not giving him a chance to regain that nerve, Gin. I've taken enough risks to get where I am now, and I'm not going to lose everything just because I walked too slowly."

With renewed determination he started to run faster, beginning to put a greater distance between him and the shocked silver-haired man. While Gin wanted to make him stop for his own purposes (Ahem, so he could kill him), what could he say to change his mind? After all, his argument was sound and he was already out of sight.
