No More Test Tube Human

Guten tag, readers.

I decided to change the call of "James I. Orimura" from "Maj. Orimura" to "James" because I find the earlier nickname to long to write for a main character.

Home Island

Inside the command room, Williams, Mason, Watt, and James are staring at a food in front of them on their tables. The said food is fruit-flavored ice cream. All of them are hesitated to eat it. They are unsure whether or not an ice cream with fruit flavor, beside strawberry, is delicious.

Due to the nature of their Tiberium-infested world, GDI did everything necessary and sometimes borderline abnormal to make sure humanity survive. One of them, sadly, is an almost completely abandonment of the creativity in art, culture, food, etc. This is supported by the GDI's records.

Ice cream is one of them. There are only four ice cream flavors in Tibeirum Earth; chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and neapolitan, which actually just a combination of the three flavors. And there's art; if one examined the latest painting the Tiberium Earth have with the one during Pre-First Tiberium War, they'll find no difference. Culture is even more worse; not only there's isn't any new culture, some cultures are in fact at the brink of extinction. And food? Let's just say that if people from Earth 2.0 mention a common food, GDI personnel will have no idea what they are talking about.

Finally, Watt take a sppon full of ice cream to his mouth. After tasting it for a while, he let out a smile. Then, all his friends start eating the ice cream.

"Man, their IT technology is almost nothing compared to us, but their sure know how to make a delicious food." Comment Watt.

"I really agree with you." Said James.

After a few minutes, the officers and a Doctor finished the ice cream. Then, all of them approach the main computer. They use the computer mostly do direct a mission.

"Alright, boys. Listen up! Our mission is to eliminate Professor Adolf Mengele, a person that, according to our intel, is about to make a deal with Phantom Task." Explain Williams.

"Who is Professor Mengele?" Ask James.

"Many information regarding him is mostly about his academic achievements, which is not important considering that if we succeed, he'll be six foot below the ground. But, he's infamous for his involvement in Germany's super-soldier project."

"Any information about this project?" Ask Mason.

"The project was to created super-soldiers. These soldiers were a test-tube babies. Not long after they were born, they were educated with what was necessary to became a excellent soldier."

"Sick!" Comment James.

"Madness! Even Nod never do anything like that!" Comment Watt.

"Indeed. Back to the point, Professor Mengele is making a secret deal with Phantom Task; they give him...wealthy live, and he gives them at the procedure on how to created this super-soldier."

"So, kill the man and destroy the procedure?" Deduced Mason.

"Correct. Commander Mason, your job is to guide Lieutenant Dani Punawarman, one of our Commando through a ghost city! There, he must deals with some mercenaries. His main missions is to recover an USB and eliminate Professor Mengele. If our intel is correct, there won't be any IS in the city!"

"Yes, ma'am!" Replied Mason.

Ghost City, Germany

It's night and a storm is coming. At the outskirt of the city, a group of Phantom Task's mercenary is patrolling around the city. They need to make sure that no one is interrupting the meeting.

Suddenly, they see something. The group divert their attention the a shrub. Then, they are being shot by some sort of carbine. The entire members of the group is dead without giving any resistance. A figure then emerged from the shrub. It's a GDI Commando.

"[COMMS] Alright, sir. Lt. Dani is ready to do some roll and rock! Just guide me, and I'll handle the rest."

"[COMMS] Affirmative, Lieutenant." Replied Mason who already getting used with the Commando's humorous and "Better than you" personality.

Mason then guides Lt. Dani at his exploring. At one time, he spotted two mercenary squads. Lt. Dani decided to put 'em down. With both his training and state of the art weaponry, Lt. Dani took the squads without any trouble. Then, he saw an APC with two mercenaries behind it. Lt. Dani killed two of them first, then he planted a det pack at the APC. Few seconds later, the APC explode.

"What is that?" Ask a mercenary.

"Probably just some of our guys finding abandoned explosive. This entire city was built for nothing but to be used for urban warfare training after all." Replied his friend.

Lt. Dani continue his exploring. He have killed a large number of mercenaries and destroy quite a number of armors, and yet haven't found any clue about the exact location of Mengele or the USB. Then, he received call from Mason.

"[COMMS] Lieutenant, I think we have find out the locations. The USB is at a facility northwest of the city while the professor is at the southeast."

Mason then guides Lt. Dani to the facility at the northwest. When he arrived there, he see the facility is being guarded by dozens and dozens of mercenaries. For him, it's a little problem. He charged towards the facility while also gunning down the mercenaries. Many of their weapons are not strong enough to penetrate the Commando's armor. But Lt. Dani's rail carbine is more than enough to take care of the mercenaries. Although it took him some minutes, Lt. Dani managed to kill all mercenaries. When he enters the facility, he explore it. After a few minutes exploring, Lt. Dani finally finds the USB. Though the said USB is among all USBs he found.

"[COMMS] Good job, Lieutenant. Now, you only need to kill the man, and we're done here."

Lt. Dani then exits the facility and heading southeast. When he's only halfway there, he see a guard post guarded with IFV and mercenaries. Lt. Dani decided that attacking them is not wise remembering his current armament. He then used his jet pack and fly towards the rooftop of a building. From there, Lt. Dani fly from one rooftop to another. After flying for fifteen minutes, Lt. Dani see two people, both wearing a suit, besides a helicopter.

"[COMMS] Commander, I am sending you an image. Can you please identify the people at it?"

"[COMMS] I already have, Lieutenant. I don't know who is the other one, but the man in blue suit and have blonde hair is your target."

"[COMMS] I see. I think I have an idea."

Lt. Dani then silently approach the duo. On his way, he perform stealth kill at any mercenaries he finds, either by stabbing them or breaking their neck. When he finally reach the duo, he silently plants a det pack. Lt. Dani then hide and listen their conversation.

"It's good to have business with you, Professor."

"The honor is mine. I already leave the procedure at the facility."

"Good. I am trying to contact my men there, but I don't receive any reply. Well, perhaps it's just the storm. One of few problem if you're a secret organization is that some of your equipment are below standard."

"Yeah. Anyway, I must go before the German's military become suspicious."

"I understand. Good luck, Professor."

Both men then shake each other hand. Professor Mengele then get inside the helicopter. It then fly away from the meeting. However, before it can fly any further, Lt. Dani detonate the det pack, destroying the helicopter and knocking it out of the sky. The other man is surprised and he see the fallen vehicle. Behind him, Lt. Dani is aiming his rail carbine. Then, he open fire and kill the man.

Lt. Dani then approach the crash site. He check the helicopter and find Mengele. Just to be sure, he shoot the Professor, making his body more swiss cheese and less human.

"[COMMS] It's done, Commander. He's dead man."

"[COMMS] I hear you, Lieutenant. Now proceed to the extraction point!"

"[COMMS] Roger that."

Lt. Dani then leave the crash site.

Home Island

James is currently reading a file about Operation Renaissance. The operation is given by General Blackwood. The operation objectives is to get as many information as they can on Earth 2.0's art and culture.

Thanks to three Tiberium Wars, the Scrin, and Tiberium, Tiberium Earth has lost many of their paintings and all their great buildings, among them are the Eiffel Tower, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Osaka Castle. So when the GDI noticed that the art and culture of Earth 2.0 is an almost 100% copy of their art and culture, they decided to get as many information about it. The information wil be used to recreate the lost arts and great buildings.

Suddenly, Williams barged in, surprising anyone inside.

"Alright men, we have found the location of the base. Thanks to the intel we got, if we do this correctly, we will succeed. Prepare yourself!" Shout Williams.

The entire officers inside then go to their respective room to prepare themselves.

And done.

If you asking why is this short, it's because sometimes, I am in mood to create a chapter but not a long one.

James is reading a newspaper inside his office out of curiosity. Then, he see an interesting advertisement. James then goes to the computer room. He used one and then used a certain program. He then realized something.

"Watt, are you in here?" Shout James.

Watt then approach James.

"What is it?" Ask him.

"Yeah, can you help me in using this program? I mean, seriously, this program is already exist in TWIII." Said James.

"That's the problem with you, younglings. Always have a problem with the early technology."

"Oh, I am sorry. But I never received any training about using old technology." Replied James with sarcasm.

"Fine. I'll help you."

Watt then help James in using the said old program.

"...and then I just need to click 'Send'?"

"Correct."

James then click "Send". Watt then remember something.

"Hey, is it wise to send that?" Ask Watt.

"What? What could happen if I do it?" Ask James back.

"Well, he's human. And all humans can forget something."

Unknown Location

"Hey, Sakura. Take a look at this photo." Said someone as she point a monitor.

"Let me see...oh my god! I can see many elements! It's elegant and high class, but I can feel the romance and the love this couple have."

"So, we put this in our magazine?"

"Of course."

Cafeteria, IS Academy

"ICHIKA, take a look at this!" Said Cecilia as she brings a magazine.

"What is that?" Ask Ichika.

"This magazine have many different themes of wedding clothes."

As soon as she said that, the rest of Ichika's harem are taking a look at the magazine.

"Wow, there's the one with Chinese clothes." Said Rin.

"Oh, a winter version! I am surprised." Said Charlotte.

"A traditional Japanese. It's excellent." Said Houki.

"Well, there's also the high class one." Said Cecilia.

"So, Ichika. Which one do you like?" Ask Laura.

The girls then ask Ichika which kind of wedding clothes he likes. Ichika is struggling to answer it. Out of curiosity, Cecilia decided to look at another themes. Suddenly, her face went pale. This does not go unnoticed by her friends.

"What's wrong, Cecilia?" Ask Charlotte.

"O...one of...the themes...is military." Said Cecilia.

"Is there a problem with military theme?" Ask Laura.

"No, there isn't. It's actually good. It just that...the groom and the bride..."

The other girls then take a look at the magazine. They also become shocked when they see it. The groom and the bride is none other than Ichika and Houki. Ichika is wearing a military officer's uniform while Houki is wearing the female version.

If they take a closer look, they will ask which country that have that kind of uniform. However, thanks to their jealousy...well...

"Ichika, what is the meaning of this?" Said Cecilia as she deploy her rifle.

"Do you want to die?" Said Rin as she deploy her blades.

"Ichika..." Charlotte said nothing else but she gives him the smile of the angel of death and deploy her SMG.

"You do have some guts." Said Laura as she take out her knife.

"Wait! I have no idea how that picture exist. Right, Houki? Eer, Houki?"

Meanwhile, Houki is at the other side of the cafeteria. She's playing with her hair and muttering about something with face as red as tomato.

"ICHIKAAA!"

The usual then happen.

And that's my second Omake. I kinda become addicted with Omake...well, not really.

To Chris the Metis, you are correct. I make some cameo about them.

The next chapter will be called "A Grand Gesture". Guess why!
