Finally, it was starting to turn into a normal day. Gilbert had his internet, he was sprawled along the couch, eating, and listening to music in his new apartment. Thank god for easy passwords. Smiling wickedly to himself, he started to log onto his email. There was a lot more than expected, he thought, and was almost surprised to see all of these new names and people trying to contact him! But he honestly didn't care. With a quick click, the emails were all erased and no longer a problem. "Wait a second.." He whispered, sitting up, "This.."

It wasn't his email. It was someone else's. And he had just deleted everything. Looking over to the side of the screen, he just about passed out when he saw the name.

"What the hell?!" He heard a loud screech from the apartment next door, frustrated noises, stomping, and angry yells over and over again. He fucked up. Big time. He just hoped that Matthew wouldn't figure out it was him. Shutting his laptop at the speed of light, he shoved it underneath his couch and acted "natural"; watching television and whistling nervously while praying to some higher power above that Matthew wouldn't be able to see who messed up his life.

"S-Something wrong neighbor?" He asked loudly, turning down the show he wasn't even paying attention to, and Matthew's voice grew surprisingly louder.

"Everything's gone! Everything! Oh god I'm gonna get fired!"

Shit... Gilbert gulped down his nerves. How was he supposed to know he was on Matthew's email? It wasn't his fault, technically! Well, technically it was.. "I fucked up. I fucked up.."

A few more angry pounds to the wall were heard and Gilbert could hardly stand it. He felt guilty enough as it was. "Let me help!" He called out, getting up and brushing a hand through his hair. He had no idea how he was going to help, but he could at least make it seem like it wasn't his fault! He knocked on the Canadian's front door, only to have it open a second or two later.

"No.. It's okay. I don't want to bother you."

"Matthew it's not a big deal! Let me take a look."

"Gilbert, they're gone. There's nothing you could do. What asshole did this?"

The albino bit his lip. 'Me', he wanted to say. 'It's all my fault and I'm sorry'. He shouldn't have stolen the wifi. He thought it would be harmless, and yet he was proven wrong. He had to do something to help. He couldn't just stand there when it was all his fault in the first place. "Do..Do you want something to drink at my place? I have some beers."

"That.. Sounds good."

Gilbert could only hope Matthew wouldn't suspect him. If he did, he'd be kicked out for sure.

So much for a great first day at his new apartment..
