Sorry for the wait...I don't mean to be on and off with the updates, but unfortunately life gets in the way :P

Also to those who feel the need to leave mean and rude comments...your more than welcome to simply stop reading rather then telling me how awful of a writer I am and how I'm ruining these characters. Yes I am aware they my characters don't match up personality wise most likely because I'm not perfect...no one is. I'm sorry that some of you don't like the way I have written Sam and Andy, but I'm not some professional writer...it's just something I like to dabble with in my spare time.

Anyways I just want to say thanks to everyone who has stuck around it is appreciated :)

Chapter 12

The next morning Andy wakes up reaching for Sam only to find his spot next to her empty. She sits up looking around the room for him, but nothing...there's no sign of him. She decides to throw off the covers grabbing one of Sam's sweaters from his closet to throw on overtop of her tank top before making her way out of his bedroom. When Andy reaches the entryway to the living room she spots him sitting on the couch. "Sam." she softly calls out as she approaches. "Sam." she calls out again as she reaches the couch.

Its not until Andy puts her hand on Sam's shoulder that he seems to snap himself out of it. "Hey." he says turning to look up at her, "I hope I didn't wake you."

"No but waking up alone after going to bed with company isn't any fun." she tells him with a light smirk.

Sam pulls Andy into his lap pressing his lips to her temple in a soft sweet kiss whispering, "sorry," against her skin. Andy turns in his lap so that their face to face pressing her lips to his quickly before pulling back and saying, "so how did you sleep?"

"Good...oh and I have to say you look very good in my sweater." Sam says leaning in to kiss Andy's neck.

Before things can go any further Boo makes his way over to the couch letting out a soft bark as he nuzzles in close. "Hey buddy, how are you this morning?" Andy says pulling away from Sam to scratch Boo behind the ears. Andy smiles at the sight of Boo's tail wagging against the floor she can't believe how quickly this little pup has wormed his way into her heart. She climbs out of Sam's lap leading Boo to the kitchen where she fills up his food and water dish before grabbing herself some cut up fruit to eat.

"I could have made you something to eat." Sam says coming in behind her.

"No fruits okay especially since we're having lunch today with Sarah and her family. I don't want to eat a big breakfast, but don't worry you will have tons to time to make me breakfast when we live together." Andy says smirking at him.

Sam can't help his smile at the mention of them living together and he realizes that he doesn't want to wait. He wants to go to sleep every night with the woman he loves laying next to him and knowing that she'll still be there the next morning. He wants to be there for her through the pregnancy he doesn't want to miss a thing. Sam glances up to find Andy watching him with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. "What's that look for?" he asks.

"Just wondering where you went is all." Andy says coming in close to wrap her arms around him.

"I was just thinking about some things..." "What kinds of things?" Andy interrupts nervously.

"I was thinking about how I want you here...with me everyday. I want to go to sleep with you laying next to me every night knowing that when I open my eyes you'll still be there in the morning." Sam says softly.

Andy smiles meekly trapping her bottom lip between her teeth. She glances up to look into Sam's eyes seeing all the love he has for her there before responding, "well we did decide that me putting my condo up for sale prior to the move would be smart, and that would mean I'd be temporarily homeless unless someone found it in their heart to take me in." Andy says pretending to be sad and hurt.

Sam gives her a dimpled smile, "I think I can arrange something I mean do have some space available here if you want, but we may need to put some of your stuff into storage for the time being so if your okay with that the space is yours."

Andy pulls Sam's face to her allowing their lips to meet in a passionate kiss. She pulls back just enough so that her next words are said on a whisper, "deal...so do we shake on it?"

"No shake we do this instead." Sam says pulling her lips back to his as he spins them so that Andy's back is pressed up against the wall. When Andy lets out a soft moan Sam makes his move deepening the kiss, slipping his tongue past her lips to explore her mouth and tangle with her own tongue in a battle for dominance. They continue this dance slowly pushing themselves closer to an edge they never thought they would get close to with each other again. Sam begins kissing his way along her neck as his hand travel down her sides settling on her waist. Andy lets out a soft gasp when Sam's hands touch her bare skin slowly travelling up her body bringing her shirts up as he goes. Andy reaches down between them to run her hands along his bare back loving the feeling of his muscles bunching beneath her touch. It seems almost unfair because just as Sam is removing her tank top and sweater Boo lets out a bark from the back door.

Sam lets out a grunt before pressing one last kiss to Andy neck before excusing himself to let Boo outside. After letting Boo outside he heads back towards the kitchen hoping to pick things back up where they left off before being interrupted; however, when he entered what he found was an empty room. "Andy. Where did you go?" Sam calls out.

"Bathroom." Andy says while trying to get her stomach heaving under control.

Sam enters to find Andy crouched in front of the toilet. He moves in close taking her hand held ponytail in one hand while rubbing circles on her back and whispering encouraging words to her telling her that everything will be fine and to just breathe. After a few minutes things seem to calm down and she takes in a few breathes before getting back up onto her feet. "Thank you." she says softly pulling Sam into a hug before moving toward the sink to splash cold water on her face as well as brush her teeth.

"I'm here for you McNally," Sam tells her which she responds to with a nod.

"I know and I appreciate that...now let's watch a movie or something before we have to get ready to meet Sarah and her family for lunch at Lola's." Andy says with a smile leading him out towards the living and more specifically the couch.

"What are you in the mood to watch? Action, adventure, mystery...not sure what all I have but feel free to pick anything you like." Sam says going to grab some drinks from the fridge. He walks back in with two glasses of orange to find Andy putting a dvd in the player, "so what did you pick?" He asks handing over one of the glasses.

"It's a surprise now sit." Andy tells him with a smirk.

Sam and Andy make their way towards the park. They spot Sarah and her husband Mike sitting underneath a tree watching two kids running around the play structure in the middle of the park. Andy smiles watching as they approach. She can't help thinking about how one day soon this will be her and Sam watching their kids running around the park. "What's going on in that head of yours McNally?" Sam asks.

"Just thinking about how one day soon this will be our lives. Watching our son and hopefully other future children run around the park and play in the sun just enjoying life and having fun." Andy says to him with a bright smile.

"Can't wait." Sam whispers pressing his lips to her temple.

They reach Sarah and Mike barely getting a chance to exchange hellos before they hear, "Uncle Sammy!" yelled out by the two young children racing right for them. Sam crouches down to meet them and pull them in close for a hug whispering, "missed you trouble makers."

"Missed you too Uncle Sammy, who's the pretty lady?" 5 year old Valerie asks pointing towards Andy.

"Yea Uncle Sammy, who's your new friend?" 8 year old Noah asks?

Sam smiles down at his niece and nephew before turning his head to smile over at Andy, "Noah, Valerie, I'd like you both to meet Andy McNally and McNally I'd like you to meet Sarah's little trouble makers Noah and Valerie." Sam says pointing to each of them.

"Hello. It's nice to meet you both." Andy says with a wave.

"Hi...I'm 5." Valerie says shyly.

"And I'm 8." Noah says, "So how do you know my Uncle Sammy and how come we've never met you?"

"Noah, don't be rude." Sarah says cutting him off from any further questions.

"Sorry." he says meekly.

"That's okay big guy. The truth is Andy just recently came back into my life she was gone for a little while because of work...she's a police officer like me. We work together and have been friends for a couple of years now, but the truth is Andy is more then just my friend she's my girlfriend." Sam tells them wrapping an arm around Andy to bring her in close.

"No way." Noah says shocked.

"What's with the face little man?" Sam asked trying to figure out what is going through his nephew's head.

"You've never brought any girl with you when you came to visit before, so she must be special if we get to meet her." Noah says with a smile.

Sam looks over at Andy refusing to break eye contact as he says his next words, "your right Noah she is very special and I'm very happy to have her back in my life." When Sam leans in to kiss Andy while the kids let out a laugh as the shout, "EW!" Causing all of the adults to laugh especially when Andy's cheeks turn red in a light blush.

"How about we eat?" Sam suggests opening up the picnic basket in front of him pulling out sandwiches along with some juice boxes as well as bottles of water. "PB&J for the munchkin." Sam says passing Valerie her sandwich.

"Strawberry jam right Uncle Sammy." Valerie asks unwrapping the sandwich.

"Of course munchkin, I know strawberry's your favourite." Sam says before passing her a juice box to go along with it bringing a bright smile to her little face. "I didn't forget about you big guy here's your ham and cheese." Sam says passing the sandwich to Noah, "and before you ask don't worry its real cheese just like you like."

"Thanks Uncle Sammy, can I have a juice box too?" he asks unwrapping his sandwich to take a bite.

"You sure can." Sam says tossing a box of apple over to him. "What about you three any requests I have a variety of options?" Sam asks.

"Please tell me you have my peanut butter and banana." Andy says grabbing one of the bottles of water.

Sam smirks at her, "of course how could I forget it's one of the only things you seem to eat lately." he says on a laugh handing the sandwich over, "I have a second one in case you get hungry later."

"Thanks for being prepared, because we both know I'll probably be hungry for it in about an hour." Andy says quickly unwrapping the sandwich and taking a bite.

"Your in love with peanut butter and banana sandwiches?" Sarah asks continuing on at Andy's nod, "I was the same way when I was pregnant with Valerie. I'm pretty sure there were a couple of days that I only ate those, and Sammy I'll take turkey and ham if you have it." Sarah says with a smile.

"I'll take anything I'm not picky you know that." Mike says taking a bottle of water.

After Sam passes out sandwiches to everyone he grabs himself one as well as pulls out a couple containers of chips and pretzels to share. Sam is just about to take a bit of his sandwich when Valerie speaks up asking, "mommy what did you mean when you said preg-a-nat with me?"

"Well baby I was taking about when you were still growing in my tummy." Sarah says lifting Valerie up to sit in her lap. Valerie turns her head to look at her mom, "does that mean Andy has a baby growing in her tummy or you do again?" Valerie asks trying to understand.

As soon as the words are out of the little 5 year old girl's mouth everyone is silent. Sarah looks up from her daughters eyes to meet Sam and Andy's in shock over the fact that her 5 year caught on to something she never expected her too. Noah looks around at everyones faces trying to figure out the silent conversation between all of the adults while also wondering if his sister is on to something with regards to the whole baby thing, "so am I going to be a big brother again or am I getting a cousin?" he asks hoping someone will answer their questions.

Sam looks over at Andy who shrugs her shoulders with indifference as she knows it's only a matter of time before the kids find out, since Sarah and Mike know and plus Andy is 5 almost 6 months along which means she's already showing and will only get bigger till the baby is born. Sam gives her a dimpled smile before turning back towards his sister and her family. He takes a couple breaths trying to get his thoughts in order before speaking up, "first off you two are too smart for your own good. I was planning to wait till later to tell you, but you my little munchkin have figured out the secret." Sam says smiling at his niece as she taps her chin with her finger thinking about what she figured out.

Noah and Valerie look at each other quickly before turning back to look at their uncle, "Andy has a baby inside her?" They both ask breaking into smiles at Sam and Andy's nod.

"Yes she does munchkin." Sam says wrapping an arm around Andy settling his hand on the side of her stomach. "You two are going to be the big cousins to a little boy named Jeremy, when he's born." Sam tells them as the move in closer.

"When will he be born?" Noah asks.

"Will he be here before Christmas?" Valerie asks bringing smiles to all of the adults faces.

"Yes Jeremy will be here before Christmas. He should be here around the middle of November, and don't you two worry you guys will be my first phone call when Jeremy decides he's ready to come out." Sam tells them bringing smiles to their faces.

After answering a few more questions Sam seems to satisfy his curious niece and nephew, because they jump up to hug him then run back to the play structure laughing as they go. Sam gives Andy and quick peck pulling back to say, "well they seemed excited."

Sarah can't help but smile at how happy Sam is with Andy, she's never seen him smile so much in all of her life and never seen his eyes shine so bright with love when looking at someone. "Of course their excited Sam, not only will there be a new baby in the family but they got to meet the woman their uncle loves." Sarah tells him.

Time seems to fly as they talk and watch Noah and Valerie in the distance over on the play structure. "This has been a fantastic day, but we should probably get going since we've been out in the sun for hours and everyone is probably getting tired." Sam says glancing over that the two little ones over at the swings before looking back at Andy.

"Noah...Valerie...time to go!" Mike yells taking a few steps in the direction of the swings wanting to make sure they hear him.

Once everyone says their goodbyes and agree to visit again soon this time with Sam and Andy going up to St. Catherine's they all head out. On the walk back to Sam's house he decides to ask one of the questions that have been on his mind this morning in the kitchen, "so I was wondering...when exactly would you like to move in McNally?"

She glances over at Sam answering with, "whenever you want, seeing as all I really need for now is my clothes and everyday things everything else we can store since we're also looking for a new place. I'd rather pack it all up and leave it packed somewhere, so that its ready to move into the new place." she tells him.

When the reach the house Sam asks her, "do you feel up to packing tonight McNally? We could stay there tonight and just spend the rest of the weekend packing."

"That sounds great Sam, because the faster everything gets packed the faster we get to live together and find our new home." Andy says pressing her lips to his.

Sold. Sam thinks to himself dropping of the picnic basket off inside before heading to the garage for boxes to use. Once he has the boxes loaded as well as his tool box just in case and then they head out to Andy's condo. While Sam drives, Andy decides to text Traci:

Hey Trace, I was wondering if you were possibly free tonight. - Andy

Why what's up? Please don't tell me things went bad with your dad – T

No he took the news surprisingly well...he's excited about the baby and is being supportive about Sam and I trying our relationship again as well as us moving in together. I'm asking because I was wondering if you would come by my condo to help pack things up with Sam and I, since I know he won't want me lifting anything heavy. - Andy

Umm...ya sure I can do that, but would it be okay if I asked someone to join us? - T

Leo is free to come he can help with the light stuff. - Andy

Sorry no free child labor this weekend, Leo is with Dex. I'm wondering if you and Sam would be okay with me asking Steve Peck to come along...we've kind of been spending time together lately and he was going to come over tonight so... - T

The more the merrier I'm thinking of asking the rest of the gang to help tomorrow if there's still a lot to do. - Andy

Sounds good. I'll check with Steve and then be over...see you guys soon – T

"Just a head's up Sam, I asked Traci to come help since I'm sure you'd rather me not lift the heavy stuff." Andy says setting her phone down.

"Smart idea McNally." Sam tells her as he pulls up to the condo.
