Frozen.
Everything was frozen. Cold...empty...untouchable...like him.
The room was like mirrors, thousands and thousands of cold mirrors, and no matter how many times he opened and closed his eyes, he was staring at himself.
It was him. He was cold. Untouchable. Empty. Heartless. And each mirror reflected every aspect of him, for in the end, they all mean the same thing; they make up the same person. He was a monster. No getting around it.
He created this room, and stored it deep inside. It was his "book", if you will. The way to read him, all of his emotions. The cold being he was began in this room.
In his dreams, he had freedom. Freedom to call it a room. Reality doesn't grant the same freedom; it's restricting, and chains you down.
So each time he woke up, much like this night, he would have to face the facts. It wasn't a room. It was his heart. And his heart was cold. And when his heart began to get cold, he couldn't exactly remember at first. But then his memory would work and he would remember. Yukianesa.
Jin Kisaragi was a cold monster. He was untouchable, empty, heartless, and lonely. And it all started the moment he laid eyes on Yukianesa. He was frozen forever, because he refused to change his ways. And no matter who or what tried to melt his ice, he would stay frozen.
Because Yukianesa's ice has a grip on not only his heart but his mind. And Jin refused to let go.
Because even the greatest of us fear.
Because we all fear oblivion.
A/N: Quick little one-shot about Jin. I wanted to write something because I was bored and I haven't uploaded anything on here in awhile for BlazBlue. So I did. Excuse any mistakes or OOCness, I wrote this in about 7 or 8 minutes. And for why I chose Jin? Well besides the fact that I never did a one-shot about Jin...it's Jin. It's really easily to write a dark, deep type of fic for him. I hope you enjoyed it, and please leave a review. Please, whether it's a little praise or simply constructive criticism. I'm grateful for anything. Oh, and sorry about the author's note being longer than the actual oneshot, lol.
