Fireworks

They had an entirely different meaning for Ronan before he met Julia.

To him, "fireworks" was another term for a gun fight. He'd had several of those and somebody must have been looking out for him above because he never once got shot. Or managed to kill anyone.

A cop stopped the first one, his friend ended the second, and there were other happy accidents too.

He could see the concern on Julia's face when he told her some of his stories. But that quickly melted away. She grabbed him by the hand and pulled him to the door. When he protested and asked where they were going she just smiled and said, "let's make some new memories."

Ronan grinned so hard he thought his cheeks might crack.
