Alright so here's the thing. Yes, this pretty much has been abandoned. I've been opening and closing this chapter in such frustration and I haven't really been in the right mind when I get around to trying to continue it. So, because I'm deeply sorry and because I need a distraction from the girl that is absolutely hurting me, this is what would have been a continuation of the last chapter. It's the only string of words which I was completely set on having written down. Who knows? Maybe I will come back to it sometime.

Fireworks. It's a clichéd thought, she knows, but it's the only thought she's managed to have run through her head as her lips pressed against the brunette's. The touch of her lips had been everything she remembered and more. The gentle feel of Holly's hands gripping at her arms sent her mind reeling. Reluctantly, she pulled apart and released an unsteady breath. "Oh my god" she mouthed silently to herself as she shook away the blankness from her head. "I'm sorry. You just – you just had to stop talking" Gail explained, her eyes searching the other woman's face. 'I just did that. I just kissed Holly'.

"I won't say another word" Holly responded in a whisper.

She missed the heat of Holly's lips on her own and if she was going to be honest with herself here, the dazed look on the brunette's face was absolutely killing her. Gail moved her gaze south of Holly's gorgeous brown eyes. 'Kiss her again' her mind commanded and before she knew it, they were connected once again, this time moving against each other at a slower pace.

Gail wasn't sure how long they both spent standing in the middle of her room making out like crazy teenagers. It could've been seconds, minutes, hours, she didn't care because all she knew was that she was kissing Holly and Holly was kissing her. Sweet, beautiful and nerdy Holly. The Holly that she spent so many restless nights thinking about. The Holly who she secretly, deep down, desperately hoped had been spending those nights sleepless as well thinking of her.

Eventually she broke the kiss and gently rested her forehead against Holly's, keeping her eyes closed and trying to bottle up everything she had just felt, in case for some irritable reason, the moment would be taken away from her memory.

"Gail…"

She felt Holly's warms breath against her face as the brunette broke the silence. The rasp in her voice sent chills down Gail's back and caused her stomach to flip. Her fingers which had travelled to Holly's shirt moments ago clenched tighter as she attempted to bring herself back from her hazy state of mind.

"You have no idea how much I wanted that"
