And finally done! So this was supposed to be done about a week and a half ago, but let's just say that it wasn't my "Destiny". But here it is now.

You also may notice that I have cover art now! This is thanks to Kegi Springfield. So thanks for that.

So, not much else to say but enjoy.

After the ordeal with Nora, Jaune wandered the halls, unsure of where to go. He thought that he should wait for Ren back in the room, but he was afraid that one of the girls would find him. He was also hungry, but the cafeteria posed the same problem as the dorm. The blonde knight continued to ponder his destination when a firm hand clasped him on the shoulder. "Hey Jaune!"

With a girlish scream, Jaune stumbled forward and over one of the potted plants in the hall, taking the poor flora with him. "Wow, that was so uncool," a second remarked.

Jaune rolled onto his back to find Sun and Neptune giving him odd looks. "Oh, h-hey guys. What's up?"

"You okay, man? You seem a little jumpy," Sun asked, extending a hand to help Jaune up.

"Well, other than the fact that I think the girls are playing some sick prank on me, I think I'm good," Jaune sighed as he accepted the help.

"Prank?" Neptune questioned, now intrigued.

"At least that's the only way I can explain it."

After Jaune explained the recent events to the two foreign students, while being interrupted many times by the duo's laughter, he sighed once more and leaned against the wall.

"So what's your plan now?" Sun asked after his latest fit of laughter.

"I wanted to get some lunch, but I'm afraid of getting jumped again in the cafeteria... Hey! Do you guys mind helping me keep a lookout?"

The other two boys smirked to each other. "I don't know," Neptune started, "we really don't want to get mixed up in this."

"Yeah," Sun continued, "we need to think of our own safety."

Jaune's shoulders slumped as he sighed deeply. "I'll buy you both lunch."

"The man knows how to speak our language," Sun happily announced as he gave Neptune a high five.

"At least I have some back up now," Jaune mumbled to himself.

However, the leader of team JNPR soon regretted his decision when he found out how much Sun and Neptune could eat. While Jaune grabbed a sandwich, an apple and a soda, the other two piled a mountain of food on their trays. "There goes my life savings," Jaune complained when they sat down.

"Relax, you got the two greatest lookouts in all of Remnant. That kind of service doesn't come cheap."

"So we're looking out for team RWBY, Pyrrha and Velvet?" Neptune asked through his food.

"Yep, they're the ones," Jaune replied as he started to eat.

To the knight's astonishment, Sun and Neptune finished before him and both got up. "Where are you going?"

"To get seconds," Neptune answered casually.

"Don't worry, we've got our eyes peeled," Sun added.

Jaune mumbled something angrily under his breath as the duo got back into line. Sun and Neptune chatted about random subjects until something caught Sun's eye. "Hey Neptune, does it look like that girl is heading straight towards Jaune?"

Neptune looked behind him. "Maybe, but it doesn't look like any of the ones we're supposed to stop. Doesn't even look like any of them in disguise."

"You can tell from here?"

"Are you questioning me on my perception of girls?"

"Fair enough."

"I don't think we have anything to worry about."

Meanwhile, Jaune was just finishing his lunch when someone cast a shadow over him. He turned, expecting to find Sun or Neptune, but instead, he found a girl in a brown outfit, a beret and sunglasses. "Um... hi?"

"Are you Jaune Arc?" The girl asked in a light accent that Jaune couldn't place.

"Yes?"

"Good," the girl smiled cheerily before picking Jaune up by the front of his hoody.

"W-wait! What are you doing?" Jaune started to panic.

"I need you to come with me," the girl maintained her cheery voice.

"H-hold on! Sun!? Neptune!?" Jaune called as he was dragged out of the cafeteria.

"Hey Neptune, I think you made a bad call," Sun said as he watched the other blonde.

"Well she wasn't one of the girls that we were told to look out for, so I think we still held up our end of the bargain," Neptune responded.

"Very true. Besides, I'm sure he'll be fine."

While the spectacle in the cafeteria played out, Velvet arrived at the cliffs and began to pace nervously back and forth. "OK, you can do this. You've practised. Yang and her team did so much to help you. Don't blow it."

The Faunus spent a couple more minutes encouraging herself until her keen ears picked up on a pair of footsteps and a distant voice. "C'mon, where are we going? I can walk. Will you say something!?"

Velvet froze as she watched Coco walk up to her, dragging the bunny eared girls crush behind her.

Coco let go of her captive as soon as she arrived at the cliff and smiled to her teammate. "There we go."

Jaune got up and brushed himself off. "Will you finally tell me what this is all about?"

"Nope," Coco continued to smile, "but she will."

Jaune turned to Velvet, who was starring at him wide eyed and a blush on her face. Just focus on his hair. Like you did with Ren, Velvet thought to herself. "H-hi Jaune."

"Hey..." Jaune trailed off nervously.

"Velvet! You had it right the first time. D-during the other day I mean."

"Oh, that's a relief. I thought I offended you," Jaune smiled.

"No! You didn't. Obviously. I mean, I was just, well, I, um..." Velvet took a deep breath. "Jaune, I think you're really nice and I thought it was really cool when you stood up to Cardin and I'm not sure why, but now he's stopped picking on me and I know it was because of something you did, but you never took credit for it and I really admire you because of that and because of that I want to spend more time with you an learn more about you and thought we could do that at that diner in Vale."

"Uh..." Jaune was still trying to separate the words of Velvet's accelerated monologue when Coco cleared her throat.

"She's asking you out."

"Oh... OH!" Jaune's eyes widened.

"Y-you don't have t-to if you don't want to," Velvet broke eye contact an fidgeted with her hands.

"No! No, it's not that. I just can't believe a pretty girl is asking me out."

"Pretty?" Velvet's blush deepened.

"I w-would love t-to go out with you," Jaune, blushing as well, rubbed the back of his head.

"G-great! How does t-tomorrow evening sound?"

"I'm f-free. Well, I have to cancel training with Pyrrha, b-but that shouldn't be a p-problem."

Coco watched the exchange with a smirk on her face. "This is adorable, but I think I should take Velvet back to our dorm before one of you passes out."

The other two mumbled in agreement and Velvet left with her leader. "I can't believe he said yes," Velvet smiled.

"Of course he did. He even said it. You're a pretty girl," Coco patted her on the back.

"Yeah, he did," Velvet blushed again, but her smiled remained.

Meanwhile, team RWBY waited in there dorm room. "Do you think Velvet got that person to help?" Ruby asked.

"If she did, I wish she would tell us. I'm tired of waiting," Weiss complained.

"Screw it! I'm going to go check up on her," Yang leaped off her bed and opened the door. However, her goal was forgotten when she saw Jaune about to enter his room. "Hey vomit boy!"

Jaune froze in place, but then slowly turned around. "H-hey Yang."

Yang smirked, feeling like doing a little teasing. "Feel like answering a few questions?"

Jaune opened his mouth, but it seemed like something clicked in his head. He pointed at Yang. "So that's what that was about!"

"What," Yang asked, confused.

Jaune scoffed at her. "Excuse me, Yang, but I should get some sleep. I need to be rested for my date tomorrow."

And with that, Jaune slammed the door behind him, leaving a confused and shocked Yang.
