Well, it's quite obvious that when I read this story, I was at a different place, in a different time. Unfortunately, it hasn't aged as well as I had hoped. But I suppose not all stories can. Some of them seem better in the moment than they are when reflected upon in the cold light of day. Such is life.

But, the trip down memory lane was a worthwhile one, even if it wasn't the one I expected.

Man, that line about "I had him going for a solid hour about the American government" made me laugh. Like, an hour is nothing my dude, I used to be able to consistently get my dad going for three or four hours at a time every other day about politics. And they weren't repetitive rants either, he always had new things to go off about. It was absolutely wild.

Reading this story is such nostalgia tho. Definitely different than what I remembered, but it's still got that charm, y'know? It reminds me of a different time in my life...

Idk, I went searching for this story this evening because I had a powerful memory of a portion of it and I felt the intense urge to relive it. Hopefully, it continues to bring back memories.

So if Eren’s bad at school then how’d he get into college at age 15? Doesn’t make sense. Not to mention if he barely passed his classes then how did he end up working for a perfectionist like Levi? Major plot hole

I really loved this story. Thank you so much for writing and completing it. It was really cute and sweet and the feels. Ugh. I legit rested up when we lost grandpa and I was easily wrapped up in all the characters and their stories. It was truly a great read and there’s just nothing like finding a good completed piece like this. Thank you again!

I don't know if you still read your review on this story since you've finished it some years ago but I wanna tell you that I really appreciate your story ! You're a great author :)
Also, as I'm french, I've corrected the sentences in french ;
"Allait-il comment votre vol ?" is wrong, it's better if you say "Comment s'est passé votre vol ?" ; "Ta grand-mère a dormi la plupart du temps, mais la turbulence était terrible. Elle est bien chanceuse d'avoir pu dormir !" ; "Il est bon de te revoir mon garçon" ; " Oh Rivaille, regarde toi ! Tu es encore plus beau qu'avant, tu ne fais vraiment pas ton âge !" ; "Il a un très beau visage, Levi. Et les yeux aussi ! Très joli." ; "Tu choisis toujours de belles personnes. Petra aussi était très jolie."
