I'm saddened this fic hasn't gotten more reviews. It's a lovely take on the pairing, and it's nice to find good 12 Kingdoms fic still running. Thank you for the good work.

The line, "it would result in an outbreak of acne," surprised a laugh out of me. Actually, now that I'm typing it, I realize I read it as "it would result in an outbreak of odd acne," which I find a slight bit funnier. I generally dislike reading romances where the characters are already in love, but this is whimsical and cute. Endearing as only Rakushun can be, haha.

Looking forward to the next chapter! Have you tried Eugene Woodbury's translations? What's the last book you've read?
