Reviews for How Holmes Was Compelled to Remember One Festive Occasion Per Year
Lillyanna333 chapter 1 . 10/25/2014
I love it! You kept the atmosphere and even if english isn't my first language and I have hard time following all those weird words, it was worth it :D
randomplotbunny chapter 1 . 8/13/2014
This is beyond perfect. Thank you. :-)
Morgan Pen chapter 1 . 6/11/2014
My adoration for your impeccable vocabulary makes my heart skip a beat. My sudden desire for Johnlock was satisfied within mere sentences of reviewing your piece. I pray, continue to practice your craft... for you write beautifully and capture the soul of London and Doyle within your style. I look forward to see what else you shall write.
IloveHeat chapter 1 . 3/2/2014
I love this. It is perfect. And the vocabulary...sigh. I find that I must now go read the original works to see if ACD can equal your storytelling. I am sure to be disappointed. Thank you.
Chris chapter 1 . 1/24/2014
I absolutely loved this story. I wanted to read on and on... but not finish it. But well, like everything there was the end. I laughed, I cried, I've been thrilled, and thought "omgthatssohawt!" a lot.
Great story. Really. Aweome.
sana-chan9 chapter 1 . 12/30/2013

alphabetsoup2112 chapter 1 . 12/26/2013
Well, merry Christmas to me, getting to read this story! It's always interesting to see how writers bring Johnlock into the ACD era, and I very much enjoyed this one. It's very well written! I'm very impressed with the tone. :)
MapleleafCameo chapter 1 . 12/24/2013
That was simply gorgeous! What a great Christmas treat - rich & resplendent in language & imagery - the tone & setting were perfect as was the characterizations -you always talk pretty!
Merry Christmas!
Akiyuzu-chan chapter 1 . 12/24/2013
You are amazing at talking "pretty" as you call it. :)
Although the plot itself is short you've managed to write so much about it, and you used vocabulary as if you were born at that time.
I literally can't find any more fitting words to comment on this, all I can think of sounds too common in comparison.
Merry Christmas eve!
miamam chapter 1 . 12/24/2013
Oh, this was just what I needed. Wonderful story, I loved the special language of 19th century :-P And also the hot moment *cough* lol... Thank you
Bookwoman17NerdyMom chapter 1 . 12/24/2013
Oh lovely! I enjoyed every word, and now I am late for work! Oh, well, worth the wound. ;)
As you Brits say, "Happy Christmas!". I've enjoyed my present, thank you.
The kids and I are planning a trip to England and Wales in 2016 (or maybe 2015, if we can't wait!), you'll have to tell me where to go for my Sherlokian fix!
Love, as always,
Beth
verityburns chapter 1 . 12/24/2013
What a complete joy to find a new story from you! I've not read much 'book' Sherlock Holmes, but I may have to start because this was an absolute delight. I love your 'Watson' voice and the description of the 'giant pomegranate' was superb - I feel like I can really picture it.

Beautiful account of a tremendous friendship at the moment of its blossoming into something more - I feel privileged to have been able to witness it. Thank you so much for sharing!
