Whoo, Elsa sounds rather frightening here! Very vivid descriptions. Hm, it might have made more sense to have a second map, rather than the original map showing two X marked paths. Since movie viewers saw the map had only one path, there's really no way to explain it suddenly having two. Unless of course Disney found a way to cleverly alter movie viewers' memories as well! ;)

If (and I hope they do!) Disney makes a Frozen 2, I could totally seeing them taking it in this direction. It would be difficult to go back and say Elsa's power is actually a curse, since the movie specifically says it isn't, but having Grand Pabbie say he removed those memories makes it much more believable. You might want to consider proof reading your chapters closely before posting, as I see a good number of typos and left out words in each chapter. Your writing is mature and the plot is well conceived, so errors such as the ones I mentioned are really doing you a disservice. Looking forward to reading more!

Your song lyrics are great! I meant to mention that in the first chapter, but forgot. Do you have music in mind when you write them, or is it just poetry? Either way, very well written verses. Elsa's control over her emotions are slipping, not good. Anna to the rescue! I think you captured both sister's characters here to a tee.

Oooh, what else is in the journal?! I can see Anna stepping on everyone's toes for sure. She never really got a chance to in the movie, since the Duke pretty much *cough* danced *cough* circles around her. Heh heh. (Well, I suppose Hans counts too. I guess she was feeling particularly graceful then!) This one sentence here, "Kristoff was costumed to being ignored.", I think you meant to put "accustomed" rather than "costumed."

Now I want to re-watch the movie and see if her hair DOES get lighter as her powers increase! Interesting turn of events, I'm excited to see where this will lead. (On a critiquing note again, you occasionally lapse into present tense instead of past.)

Lots of classic fairy tale elements coming together for a truly unique beginning, I like it! There are some awkward sentence structures and odd grammatical errors (the question mark after "sorceress"; switching from past to present tense, "love and guidance, can keep her heart warm"). Others might have pointed this out, so sorry if I'm just parroting. And if English isn't your first language, super kudos for writing this well in a second language. It really is an intriguing intro though! If you'd prefer not to have detailed critiques, just let me know, and I will only comment on the overall flow and my enjoyment of the fic.
