your story is pretty good, I’m still reading, but man the narusaku parts make me cringe, I just never read anything from them b/c I’m more towards naruhina instead, so I kinda skim through the whole naruto and Sakura thing, but other then that your writing is good and hinata seems more confident & strong and still has that gentle touch which I like.

I need to know how this story ends. Pls continue. :(

I don't know if you'll ever update this fic again, but I gotta tell you - this is one of the best Naruhina fics out there I have ever read. I love the twists and turns you've incorporated into this story. Your summary implies that the "incident" that made Hinata leave the village for five years had something to do with Naruto hurting her in some way (a plot point many fanfics out there use) but then I was pleasantly surprised that the reason had nothing to do with Naruto, and in fact you revealed that things had been going well between them when she left, which made Hinata's departure all the more heartbreaking and Naruto's initial angry reactions understandable and natural. I also love the character development you've provided for Hinata. I hate it when fanfics completely change Hinata's personality in an effort to make her "stronger" when all it does is turns her into an unrecognizable character. But in your story, you've made Hinata stronger while still keeping her true character intact. Her progression is also believable and I wished she could have been portrayed this way in canon. Also - I LOVE the interactions and tensions between Naruto and Hinata. I love both the angsty moments and the romantic moments! You've given them such a believable chemistry which has progressed naturally over time.
So yeah, I love your fic :)
You've crafted quite the complex storyline here which is a difficult writing project to finish, so I understand why you may not have updated this story in almost two years. I'm following this fic anyways just in case though ;)

So...Naruto says Sakura let him go and he let her go "a long time ago"...Sakura says she let him go the day Hinata returned to the village...Hinata has been in the village for a month now...a month is what he calls "a long time ago"? lolol Okay...

Not to mention right after his and Hinata's first real encounter Naruto headed straight to Sakura's house, I'm guessing so he could reap the "benefits" of their "friends with benefits" situation. So was that when he let go of her? lolol Okay...

But its nice how Naruto is really trying. It was great that he called her strong. He really is trying to help her. I also love when Alba makes an appearance. Cant wait to see how they progress more :)

So... Naruto couldnt commit to a relationship with Hinata while she was there... but when she leaves the village he jumps into other relationships? lolol Okay...

LOL! The last part was hilarious! It was amusing to see Sasuke lose his cool like that! But love does come in any forms. Wise words :)

Um, Naruto says he cherished the memories that accompanied that umbrella? Isnt that the same umbrella that was broken on the floor when he was telling Hinata he still loved Sakura? lolol Okay...

Um... I dont know if Naruto knows but a dozen is still a lot of women to have in the short time of 5 years lol If he started to get different girlfriends right after Hinata left then that means he had like 2 girls every year for three years and then had 3 girls every year for another two years. Thats still a bunch, I wonder if Hinata knows about that lol

Well at least he finally realized that Hinata was always the one. Yeyy! Now time for him to try and undo all of that hurt and pain he put Hinata through by being so indecisive when they were "together."

What a cool story so far! So many feels!
