It was so skillfully written, great pacing. Like a professional's work. It was like literally watching the scenes unfold cinematographically in my mind. There was a depth to them. The characters were authentic and not just caricatures of themselves. You didn't describe Pinhead as some paper cut goth prince idol in forbidden romance. And I know it is partly by how you build the scenes around him instead of describing him, but I can't précise it well further. It's a bit of writer's magic to nail a character, I can't wrap my head around. You relativised the pain aspect to make room for eroticism, without taming or writing out the source materials darkness. A popular route but without the cringe or cheesyness. I doubt you'll revisit to read this review, but I still felt the need to thank you for this awesome piece.

Well this is an interesting story, and Kristy and Pinhead are my favorite pairing in Hellraiser, i love the dynamics that are in the story, well i'm just being honest until then.

Absolutely amazing. The way you wrote the details and emotions were breathtaking. I felt I was watching another Hellraiser movie, but better. Loved the interactions between Kirsty and Xipe.

As a long time "Pinsty" shipper, I can't believe I didn't find this beauty sooner. I LOVED this. Neither Xipe or Kirsty were ever out of character in this one; you write for both of them so well. Amazing read!

I realize this was just a one-shot you did to clear things while switching gears, but I really wish you'd write more Hellraiser fanfiction. This is by far the best I've read. I was so absorbed in the story I had a "No! There must be more. This is to good to stop now!" moment. I don't usually get those. I know you don't plan to develop this into anything larger, but I would love more one-shots or drabbles from you for this pairing. This story is what really cemented my love of Pinhead and Kirsty. Well done.

that made me very happy... because for some reason the concept of what they Cenobites are offering seems to slip most people, chalking it up to the mainstream concept of BDSM... yes, it is the extreme of that, but it so much more then just the pain or the strange... its lacking limits, its exploring everything, it is a freedom only hell can provide...

i think you get that really well... and i love the gradual descent, there's always that strange undefinable relationship between the protagonist and antagonist, and between Kirsty and Pinhead is no different, its complex, strange, and unique, and i think you got that across really well as well...

oh the chase... its about the challenge, not the easy victory... where's the fun in that... and once they're finally snared... oh what fun can be had...

i just, really, really like this take, it amuses me way too much... great for a palette cleanser :P

Dang this was an intense read. I so wish there was more.

Without a doubt, the best Hellraiser fanfiction I have ever read. Not only did you keep everyone in character, but the dialogue was fantastic and Kirsty's slow descent into darkness was perfect. I wish this was one of the official Hellraiser sequels, because it is, without a doubt, a masterpiece.

Sorry my english is not allowed me to understand the whole fanfic. I still do not understand what Pinhead made with Kirsty skin, which is why it has become .. well ... very sensitive. But I see that this fanfic is very dark and in the characters.
