You know, I think Vega is pretty underappreciated at times. I enjoyed looking through his eyes.

Not a fan of character studies, but I liked reading this!

Really lovely fic! I absolutely adore this character study, you capture James and all of his reactions very well. People always view him as the sort of goofy character, especially so if they don't talk to him on the Normandy (personally I know quite a few people who just kind of skip over him. u.u), but even those who do like him often portray him as a character with little substance. Your short fic here really did his character justice though. I think the end here was my favourite part, simply due to the way James sees things as well as my inner fangirl squeeing about some Shakarian. x'D

Not sure why I love this more: That it's so overwhelmingly James I can almost smell it, or that it's a Shakarian (sorta) fic with Ash in it.

This story is excellent! Vega seems so spot-on and realistic. You should continue the story, or at least write more ME fiction. I love Shepard/Garrus stories :D

Fabulous Vega voice here! I had a hard time getting him. I always like seeing Shepard through unfamiliar eyes, and seeing this moment is especially nice.

Short and sweet. I never liked Vega much - he just didn't register as a person instead of a steroid overdose - but I love the character and the POV you've given him here.
