Absolutely beautiful! You took such a simple gesture of two people glancing and looking for each other and turned it into such a poignant piece about how Aragorn realized how his feelings for Eowyn gradually crept onto him! Absolutely loved it, thank you for writing such a beautiful piece!

Definitely AU, but cute :) I always wondered what it'd look like if these two actually did get together. Originally, Eowyn actually was meant to end up with Aragorn, interestingly enough.

One tip- consider finding a replacement for the phrase "freaked out". It's very obviously a modern term and it clashes with the tone of the rest of the story. It sounds more like something a teenage girl would say than a hardened warrior. Try something along the lines of "made wary" instead.

Very nice. I've always thought that Aragorn /Eowyn had way more chemistry and made more sense than Aragorn / Arwen. Maybe it was an actor / actress issue but A/E just crackled while A/A left me "meh".
