Guest chapter 1 . 9/22/2018 Different but good! I liked it a lot. The concept of humans and nations is one of my favorite things to read about! Thanks for the good read! |
firstofthenight chapter 1 . 6/15/2016 The was very good. A bit sad, but very good. |
Mondmaedchen chapter 1 . 6/15/2015 Ugh. You always degrade yourself, but you're a better writer than I am. |
Tsubasa chapter 1 . 12/27/2013 Bad? That was beautiful! I love your style. Even though I normally don't like OCs, yours was great. It seemed like Norway experienced a similar situation as Iceland. |
teamLNMM chapter 1 . 11/29/2013 When I saw the sentence, "She was also a singer," I knew EXACTLY who this girl was and what the story would lead to. And it hurt, honestly, because I could already envision it-the pain Iceland would feel from her death (I didn't expect it to be right before his eyes though; that makes it worse...). I think this is an excellent crossover. I didn't feel that anything was rushed or complicated to understand. Even for the people who don't know her character like I do, I feel that you give a good enough feel to her that others will understand her and her short life in brief. I liked her interaction with Iceland. The kindness she shows to him, Latvia, and Sealand made me feel so sad, because she is such a vibrant character. Even though I know she will be all right in death, it is still so tragic to see her be snuffed out in more ways than one on earth. I felt so bad when I knew that Sealand and Latvia would have to see her death unfold right before their eyes alongside Iceland, who had, as you wrote in the story, "could only stare as the girl he watched grow up" be destroyed right in front of him. You did great with this, and I'm glad I finally read it. After all the stuff my family has been through in the past week, reading this-despite it being tragic-was a good treat... Well, your writing is great after all. _ |
amsves chapter 1 . 11/7/2013 Bad? That was amazing! Oh, and sad too. |
Obiwanlivesforever chapter 1 . 11/6/2013 I love it whenever you update! And I realized who the singer was long before reading the author's note - it's Luna, from ... your story on dA which I can't remember the name of ... Ghost Slayers? It was really creative of you to meld these two universes in with each other. Poor Iceland, though. I always like seeing things about how the nations interact with humans, and Norway's comment at the end makes me wonder which human he knew that befell a similar fate (he seems to be warning Iceland based on a previous experience he's had...) Nice to see Latvia and Sealand appear in addition to my two favorite Nordics, and darn it, you're making me want to ship IceLat now. XD Latvia's so adorable! His reaction to Ljotur's death intrigued me especially; was his comment about the 'barricades' regarding something that happened under the Soviet Union? |
petmentor chapter 1 . 11/5/2013 I love this story! I love your writing style, you're a fabulous writer. |
Nordics4Life chapter 1 . 11/5/2013 So sad ;; A ;; I can only imagine the pain a nation must have to go through, it seem sjust downright horrible to suffer like that! *Why must all your stories be so sad and fabu at the same time?* I'm literally trying not to cry right now. Literally. Stop being so perfect at making these stories meaningful and deep and effective and any other adjective that could describe this. |
Robine chapter 1 . 11/5/2013 This is such a sad and sweet one shot. I really love it! Iceland is such a cutie and the bond he has with the singer is very well written and realistic and absolutely beautiful! Norway is an awesome big bro and I'm happy he also made an appearance, just like Latvia and Sealand. The singer is a very realistic and tragic OC and I think I may know her, but I'm not sure... Isn't she the girl with the epic ponytail? I love it when you post sketches of her, even though I don't comment that often! [sorry] But she is a very enjoyable character to see and I pictured her when I was reading this story! I just love your writing style and I just love that yo posted another oneshot and thank you thank you thank you for doing this for your readers and I'm eternally grateful! |
Dextra2 chapter 1 . 11/5/2013 Wow this is good, very bittersweet though. I love seeing those kinda of relationships in this fandom. (Though most are about Joan of Arc. Not sayings she's bad or anything, but it's nice to see other ones too.) |
