I just found this story while looking for HTTYD fics and decided to read it. So...

It was really, really cute. I would definitely have liked the show to go further into the Hiccstrid aspect of the episode, but fanfics are always a good way to fill in what happened after the scene changed...I always felt like there was more that happened between them after Hiccup told everyone her uncle really was fearless, but the scene left to go back to the plot with Snotlout and the emergency center...oh, well. But I like how this story played out. The ending was especially cute when he told her to close her eyes.

The only thing I had an issue with was the grammar - specifically, the punctuation and run-ons. But that could be fixed with close proofreading, maybe from a beta if you're not sure on all the exact grammar rules.

Mmm, quite a nice one. Very well depicted and rather sensuous. My kudos to you for this one.

Oh, this story is like a cute little cupcake, so thank you for sharing :-) (And I absolutely hate the absence of HiccAstrid from the Defenders series, grrr.)

Aw, this was very sweet! Sometimes we all just need a fluffy one-shot. Great job! It's nice to see a fic where Hiccup takes a little more initiative. I like when people write him more confidence and not portray him as a complete push-over. It makes my heart happy. Kudos to you!
