Well, you were totally right about one thing; it isn't Hotch's fault, no matter what that silly, fatherly goose may think. As much as all of this sucks - more than vacuum cleaners - there really wasn't a thing he could have done. MORGAN, on the other hand . . .
I jest.
And of course, it was nice to see the flip side of Reid again . . . you'd figure, with how little the boy actually lets himself loose, he might actually not go completely crazy over letting in some feels when he's with Nathan, but instead, of course the man is beating himself up over it again and again and again. I mean, for Chrissake, Reid, your little confession probably saved you from some serious bad stuff, at least for the time being, so even if it wasn't the BEST idea to let your guard down, it was the smart move to make it through the moment. Ya did what ya had to do, so relax about it.
In the meantime . . . that thing about having to find a 'way to distract Nathan' so he could get himself a weapon? Hmm, I know a pretty good-sounding one that the psychopath would DEFINITELY enjoy . . . Even if Reid wouldn't. But, hopefully, he's not that desperate. Yet. Maybe he will be soon, though.
Guess it kinda depends on what Nathan's p[lans are for him when he comes down the stairs . . . Ooh . . .
As always, you've left a positively salivatory ending, and I'm kinda dying to know what happens next. Can't wait for Update #14!
