I love your snapshot of Jane's relationship with Cho. I can completely believe that Jane likes that Cho doesn't ask questions of him even though he thinks it could be because Cho is simply giving him enough rope to hang himself!

Your ending - so poignant, it would give Jane just a glimmer of hope in his darkness to know that about Cho.
