I like this story because it shows how Dean thinks about the world in which he is living. Throughout theseries he has expanded his worldview to incorporate things he has learned from all the beings he has met. Sam is the "rational" one, but Dean is smarter because he is intuitive, and the really smart people see beyond the logic.
Thanks for posting this. I've saved it as a favorite story.
