| KatieBeth503 chapter 6 . 12/16/2014 So last night I was having a rough time and I asked for some fic recs on twitter, and Lou pointed me to this, which I can't believe I hadn't read since the whole end of season 4 arc is my favorite, but I'm glad I hadn't read it because I got to read it last night! And awesome! I laughed when you said there were relatively few people in the ER waiting room so he probably got seen quickly - that's a statement born of experience, haha. And so true. Ugh, I've spent nine hours in an ER waiting room before. FWIW I actually don't usually care for OC's, because I don't already know them, but I totally love the grandfather in this, and how he serves as the catalyst for what needs to happen between Castle and Beckett. And I love the way you balanced fluff and angst (flangst is my new favorite thing) - it's still sweet, they're still there for each other, but inside they're hurting because they suck at communication. I need more stories like that! Anyways, just wanted to let you know I read last night and I loved it, I hope to read more from you :) |
