I really love the first chapters, it is very well written I must say, and it is a creative plot you created. However, as soon as the canon story came in, I noticed a change in writing, and I admit I don't like it that much. When you tell us about what you imagine it's really great, but whenever you mention canon events (Jack saving Elizabeth, meeting Barbossa) the style changes to a more distant writing where Alice almost feels like she's not there anymore. I feel it looks more like a script than an actual story, especially with the absence of dialogues, or the fact that the curse is barely described... To me, when I read this I feel like Alice watched the movie and knows what is happening and why it is happening; she's barely questionning the cursed crew and there's no real development on her feelings over the events.
It actually really annoys me because the rest of the story is really good!

If you still write I want to read more of this! It's one of the better fics I've read and I really hope you continue.

How on Earth does this only have one review?! This fanfiction is fabulous, most definitely one of the best I've read in a long while! I am so excited for the next one. You have created a very well developed character, and have incorporated her into the story quite well, without just making it feel like you're retelling the movie. A task that is actually quite difficult to do. I love this fanfiction and I'm sure the sequel will be just as great!
