Reviews for Second Mouse
Harrison chapter 8 . 5/17/2019
I guess the only real complaint I have about the story is that it really should have been post Black Widow joining SHIELD...but that's because I wanted to see 007 seducing her, honestly.
jasnrob chapter 8 . 3/24/2018
Enjoyed your cross-over. M and Fury in the same room with tea service was pretty funny.
Kemurikat chapter 8 . 10/10/2017
Thoroughly enjoyed that story and the interplay between Bond and Barton. Always thought those two would work well together. A staring contest between M and Gury would last for days. Coulson and Moneypenny are a great match as well. Caught all the Bond title references too. ;)

Part of what makes your stories really, really wonderful are the details.

You write in German (and I think I spotted some other languages throughout your stories), and know when to use the mutated vowels. You crack jokes at the differences between British and American English. You know about cities, landscapes and geology, weapons, helicopters, military slang, the psychology of cults, mathematics, computers, material arts, music, carpentry, restaurants in New York, cottages on Long Island, retreats on the Island of Skye - pardon me, the Isle of Skye - about chemicals, explosives and more. I probably could continue this list endlessly. And that's - that's amazing really. Probably why I love these stories, along with your writing, your humor and your characterizations.

This felt like a movie, action, of course, with Bond and Barton working together. And if there ever was a movie like that - I'd go see it without hesitation, granted you write the screen play. I loved the way you depicted the characters - Eve, Phil, M, Fury, and, especially, Clint and Bond. Especially the controversy between the latter two was a lot of fun to witness. I liked how their mission ended in them becoming friends - I hope they will meet again! I have the feeling they will, I've scanned your story list quite some times already.

If this was a marvel movie there would be the after-credit scene, and I bet Natasha would be involved in it. Like, we see how she and Barton meet, and how everything begins.

Oh, by the way, Natasha, for some minutes I thought she and Clint were already on the same side - it would have been something like divine justice if the MI 6 had conveniently forgotten to inform SHIELD of them hiring an advisor, and if SHIELD, similarly convieniently, had not mentioned that they were sending Hawkeye's partner in, as well. But in that case, poor Neida Ramirez would still be alive today. Oh well.

I figured you don't need any more reviews for this story, seeing the number you already got - but wanted to leave one anyway. Hope you don't mind.

Thanks for sharing this awesome fusion!

And now we wonder, who is this post-doc going to be? :)

I was hesitant at first (don't know much about Bond except for the last three movies), but this is turning out to be the same great read all your stories are. I'm especially enjoying the changes in perspective, and I like Eve a lot. Poor M - she seems to have the lower hand when it comes to direct confrontation between her and Fury - but I hope that won't always be that way. The best thing with stories that are already written and posted completely? I can just keep on reading!

Oh, and - Nice to meet you, Vera!
The Cocky Undead chapter 8 . 7/21/2016
I loved this! It was so much fun and I really enjoyed reading your Barton and Bond.
Suse B chapter 8 . 6/17/2016
I somehow missed this was pre-Black Widow joining SHIELD. So confused! Haha.

I skipped these on the first run-through of your fic. I'm glad I left something. Write more! Now! :-)

I've never been a fan of Bond, but I do love the secondary characters.

Thanks for the fun!
Aggie2011 chapter 8 . 5/11/2015
Well...that was quite the exciting ride. Now, I'm fairly picky with what I read in the way of fanfiction - ask our mutual friend, she'll tell you - but her turning me onto your work was practically an act of providence.

Seriously, this story may be one of the best things I've ever read on this site. Ranks right up there among my all time favorites. I absolutely loved it. From the Barton snark to the Bond suave and all the little shout outs to the various Bond titles peppered throughout. *sighs* An absolute delight to read in a 'shot of adrenaline to the heart' type way.

Barton being wary of "Naida" from the get go was spot on and I just KNEW Bond was gonna end up sleeping with her because the man can't seem to stay away from dangerous women (and for a super spy, he can never seem to realize that they're dangerous until it's too damn late) Do you have a fic where Barton goes after and subsequently doesn't kill Romanoff? I'd love to read THAT story as they've already gotten off to quite the confrontational start.

I couldn't put it down and am now off to find the other fic you did where I noticed Bond in the summary cuz if it's even half as good as this one then there goes my evening.
Storm of the Smokey Night chapter 8 . 6/28/2014
For 2006, most of the things Fury has mentioned haven't happened yet. And, by the way, grain was being groan and use for beer thousands of years before bread — let along SLICED bread — had been discovered/invented.
Storm of the Smokey Night chapter 7 . 6/28/2014
"*Still* (as in not any more) tectonic plate movement"? Really? Flipping it ninety degrees was oh-so-much of an understatement.
Hah, knew it was her. Didn't the HYDRA guy sent three goons after her?
Wait a minute! Bond mentioned speaking Greek, but here to go talking about Thor just because he's related to this universe, when he has absolutely nothing to do with earthquakes or anything in the ground! Bond should've mentioned Poseidon instead.
Helicopters don't have wheels. There's no need for them with vertices take-offs, and they would make the landings difficult.
Red light pulsing from inside the earth, and the only just realize it's magma (not lava, it's [from] underground) when it reaches the surface?

Yes, the red button. xD
Storm of the Smokey Night chapter 5 . 6/28/2014
Oh, I just KNEW it was her! The fact that you mentioned she was freelance instead of just not a part of the story. I bet she's the one who broke the guys' necks, especially with how much you focused on it.
Storm of the Smokey Night chapter 2 . 6/28/2014
Oh, so THAT'S what you meant when you said "I committed crimes against science." Considering that ONE seismograph can detect the focus (epicenter? The center on the surface. Actually, Q might have said the point it originates underground. One of those) when in reality you need at least THREE. I'd be complaining if you hadn't said that you did that purposefully and it wasn't an act of ignorance. I like how you portray the story.
twinklestar13 chapter 8 . 5/17/2014
Loved the cross over and i have to ask, just how many Bond title's did you manage to fit in?
ancientmaverick chapter 8 . 4/9/2014
Two of my favorites, in one convenient package? The world is not (big) enough. Thoroughly enjoyed the outing! I hope you've been well. Mav
darkheartrocker86 chapter 8 . 2/15/2014
This is quite possibly the most entertaining fic that I've ever had the pleasure to read! I adored Naida/Natasha (even though my little shipper heart just about died when she slept with James) and her total badassery! And maybe it was too soon (since he did just sleep with her), but my little shipper heart wants to believe that Bond sorta-kinda-maybe shipped them first! My sometimes overly rational brain did tell me that he's probably wishing Clint the assassin form of "good hunting", but my Clintasha shipper heart still won't give it a rest! Thanks for writing, thoroughly enjoyed the reading!
