Lol. Poor Jack getting shocked so many times by the Doctor! But, this is really sweet. Jack more than any of the other New Who companions would really understand the aloneness in losing those you care about, and so he's better able to see how wonderful River is for him.

You could bring in Jack's partner as well, and make him/her (Jack is bi after all) a bit like the Doctor- quite prudish, but jealous of Jack flirting with someone else. PLEASE! XD Thank you. :)

I love the continuity through your other two one-shots. And I loved Jack's musings. You had me smiling throughout this entire one-shot. Maybe River will get to meet Jack, that'd be fun to see, especially since Jack got the Doctor into that mood for his wife. ;)

Besides River meeting Jack, I think it'd be amazing for the Ponds to meet him too. Since we won't see it on the show. Thanks for adding even more to my head canon. ;) Excellent job! I truly love your DoctorxRiver writing and really just your writing of Doctor Who in general, keeping everyone in-character and making the plot believable. Keep up the awesome work! :D

This was really good. I loved Jack doing a spit take at the bar. His reaction was great.

I loved this fic (and had been eagerly anticipating it). I found it very interesting to see Jack's reaction to the Doctor being alive and married. The references to First Night/Last Night were great, too.

If you are going to continue the series, I would like to see River and the Doctor (possibly post-TATM) meet up with Jack.
