To me, this brings to mind the climax of 'New Earth' in the 10th Doctor's time when Ten and Rose watched Cassandra O'Brien, the Last Human, finally meet her end... and do nothing. It is the fate and tragedy of a Time Lord to witness such a tragedy and have simply to stand and bear witness.

I haven't always followed Doctor Who so some references are lost on me. But I appreciated that you didn't delve too deep on the details and I particularly liked they way you wrote the inherent loneliness that each character carries. I read somewhere once that there is a difference between being alone and being lonely. Being alone is the state of being without anyone or anything. Being lonely, on the other hand, is the state of longing, missing, and wanting. Unfortunately for these characters, they can only really be one and never the other. It's sad, but it's almost sweet when you wrote it here. Even if Setsuna says they're not the same, I ended this feeling like they probably understand each other more than anyone else in either universe. Maybe it makes their jobs a little less lonely? Or at least I like to think so. Thanks for the lovely moment.

I don't really know anything in detail about Doctor Who, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying this! The whole select a century, go insane line? Awesome. I want to marry it. :)

I decided to look up some Cross overs with SM and DW and am glad I did, this was so touching it mad me want to cry.

I'm so glad to see you writing again, I haven't seen anything by you in a while. This was wonderful, and I've often wondered what would happen if the Doctor and Setsuna would meet. This seems to sum it up quite nicely.

Broke my heart, you really did, but thank you anyway. I was wonderfully sad.
PS: The Doctor playing tea party with Chibiusa is one of most sweetest scenarios one could ever conceive!
