Though, I really don't know how Dudley will do without magic in long term. I guess Dumbledore would want him too much to kick him out of Hogwarts, but still, a wizard who can't even use Lumos? That's kind of strange.
Anyways, I hope you will update once. I'm curious if Hermione would still become Harry's and Ron's friend here (I hope, because let's face it, the Golden Trio is far from productive without her and not even a trio xD). Halloween would be intresting to read, especially as it would say much about what parts of canon you keep.

I loved this chapter, I mean badass Lucius who wants the World and Dumbledore and his World peace. The funny thing that it is really like that in the books, but reading this written down is a lot different, especially when Dumbledore is said to be so 'wrong'. I found it hilarious, the whole 'Gryffie based system' thing :D
I especially liked Dudley who tricks bith sides xD By the way, I get that Lucius is very dark and everything, but I guess this follows canon in some ways, so I guess Voldemort is still around, isn't he?

Yeah, I think a few easy potions can be made without magical power, but many discription says you need to stir it with your wand and that can only be done if you have magic.
I guess this whole champion thing is pretty much the same as with Harry and Neville and the Sword of Gryffindor. It would make sense if other houses had similar things.
I understand the artistic license part, and yes, the world of Harry Potter is really not muggle friendly, but it makes sense that they don't want muggles in a wizarding school xD
By the way: pretty much the first question Draco asked from Harry was if his parents were magical or not. How do they accept his so easily? I mean all the Purebloods. He would need a very good tale where in the conclusion he is at least a half-blood. x) Just a thought.

This is a very entertaining fic. Hehe, it's quite an original premise for an HP fic, as far as I've seen, and not many stories have Dudley as the main character. I'm interested to see where you'll go with this! :)

Quite a unique fic. Hilarious, and surprisingly smart, too!

Dudley saw the lights and towers of a massive castle sitting atop a cliff that jutted out over the water. Hogwarts.
"Whoah," he gasped as he took in the sight.
As he is a muggle he would just see ruins instead of the castle. That is unless he has a little magic in him like a squib. He could have as his aunt was a witch.

I liked Harry's reaction. :) I'm glad you used old sport less in this chapter. I understand it's purpose, but the repetition was starting to grate on my nerves. It's a pompous thing to say but I know this is why you had Dudley saying it.

This fascinating and very different from any Dudley good to Hogwarts story I've ever read! I wonder how he'd going to do charms and transfiguration :)

I'm enjoying the story. I hope Dudley does end up being nice to Harry, as some of the hints imply; but also not too nice, as the steeling extra coins shows. The artwork is perfect for the story!
