lakariana chapter 1 . 4/3/2019 One of the great tragedies of their relationship was that this sort of conversation never happened, I honestly don't know who it was more tragic for Jack or Ianto. Thanks for writing, great job. |
sandysan2013 chapter 1 . 2/8/2015 I'm glad they talked and Ianto got some answers. Doesn't explain away or fix what happened with Gwen, but it's a start. |
daffidil chapter 1 . 2/6/2014 really liked the vibe of this one... 'hearing' Ianto speak, think... thanx! |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/27/2013 Thank you for sharing this, I really love it. |
Guest chapter 1 . 10/6/2013 Thankyou. DottyWho. |
sandysan2013 chapter 1 . 10/6/2013 I liked this but kept expecting Ianto to deal with Jack's failure to retcon Rhys and what that meant. They never really talked about that, but then, I'm seeing this as an argument I would have. It never would have ended without that discussion which is probably why the boys could make it up. Ianto made some points, but not more than Jack could handle. |
darcy58 chapter 1 . 10/8/2013 I've been having a conversation with another author recently about a post-Meat story. I don't think it needs to be written now because this is it; this is the exactly right post-Meat conversation that captures Ianto perfectly. Congratulations on actually making him a believable man with courage and sufficient sense of self to stand up to Jack. I loved the pacing of the dialogue, and your choice of phrasing and thoughts for him were spot on accurate. The asides from Owen and Tosh are also taut and acute. A tremendous take on the possibilities of that conversation, and it is a delight to have discovered your work. |
badly-knitted chapter 1 . 10/6/2013 Oh, this is really good - raw and angsty, with Jack not only put in his place but rendered speechless! This is the Ianto I believe in, not the whiny crybady some people write. He's has good reason to be angry with Jack; he doesn't seek out a confrontation - he's tired and a bit drunk and just wants to go home - but he doesn't shy away from it either. Even drunk he's eloquent, painfully honest and to the point, and he gets through to Jack. Well done, more please! |
Taamar chapter 1 . 10/6/2013 Nicely done! I can't wait to see more of your work. |
