Wanting something you can't have and doing what you feel is best even though it causes so much turmoil to your soul is worst pain imaginable. I wish she said what was really on her mind but, at the same token I understand. How depressing...Honestly, this chapter left me in tears.

Oh… oh my god. I… I don't know what to say. This stunned me to no end. I have no words. It was beautifully written and executed, and blended perfectly, with no characters spontaneously introduced. I felt a physical pain, not a feeling many writers can invoke in me. It both warmed and broke my heart with each chapter. You… you have made a 14 year old girl cry tonight. And I respect you for that. I will probably reread and rereview many, many times. Expect me.

Such as sad story...My heart broke in half! Thanks for recommending it to me. So even if Rin stayed with Sesshomaru she would of died anyways. That is the tragedy between Sesshomaru and Rin. Even if they got married, had kids, she would still die because death is apart of being human. A lot of stories don't address the issue of Sesshomaru's immortality and Rin's mortality. They are like star crossed lovers, who will only have a tragic end. Thank God for Fanfiction where you can make up crazy happy endings.

This reminded me of Romeo and Juliet. Although Shakespeare couldn't write anything this beautiful.

This story was well written and extremely sad. I cried for probably 3/4 of it.

I presume this is the end. Good grief. This was one of, if not the BEST R/S story I have read. I loved your characterization of Sesshomaru, it was incredibly true to his behaviors and incorporated his beautifully violent side. I hope to see more from you soon.

Your writing has me at the edge of my chair. It's vivid and exciting and makes me feel like I am in the story.

As someone else pointed out, you did a great job with grammar and all as well as with keeping Lord Sesshoumaru in character. Great work and I might check out some of your other stuff as well! Keep up the good work and thanks for a good read (and a good cry ;;)

Wow! That was an unusual and incredibly entertaining story. Is this the end? Looking forward to the next chapter, if not, the story was great. I like how you kept Sesshoumaru in character, even though, he was emotional at times. That's very hard to do and keep him believable. You are one of the few writers I have encountered whom was able to accomplish this. The grammar and wordage/phrasing is good as well and that's rare on this site. I also like how you kept Rin just Rin - no special powers or abilities, just mortal and frail. Good Job! :)

So depressing! But this was a really good story, and it's kind of cool that it didn't have a happy ending.
