I really adore how you captured Dean's ever-more-apparent tendency to project his shit onto other people in the epilogue. You've got a good grasp on his character. I really enjoyed reading this piece.

LOL! I thought Desiree should have ended up with Mona but then again if she didn't love her she didn't love her that's the way the cookie crumbles but I really didn't like the part where Dean and Cas end up together that was a nice ending.

An epilogue: oh my God, yes, yes! This is so good. I love it.
Dean with the rude shoving of the food and the nervousness is so perfect.
And Cas just sort of prompting Dean to FINALY come forward and say it: lovely.

By the way, I hadn't noticed before that this is your first fic. That makes it even better somehow. My first fic was... not good. So, doubly impressive. Kudos!

Aw, cute story. I really liked Mona. She was pretty awesome. And I liked the outsider perspective.

All in all, I thought it was well-written, touching and I enjoyed reading it. So, thanks for writing it!
