And here I thought it was trauma/ self induced. Like when someone hits their head and lets themselves forget because it’s easier than dealing with it. Like when he started to remember he willed it to the back of his mind. I figured he didn’t want to see in fear of remembering his death or something

I realize this comment is coming waaay after you've finished the story but, damn, this was probably one of the best ROTG fics I have ever read (and I've read a ton). I was honestly not sure about not having ships in it, cuz I'm more one for romance fics, but I'm honestly so happy there weren't any because this fic is so perfect without it and I felt like if you had tried to ship any of the characters it would've ruined it. I really loved the father/son relationship between Pitch and Jack as well as the brother relationship Jack had with Bunny, it felt so natural and like this is how the movie should have gone. I must also say that Jack and Loki being friends is like the most amazing thing ever and it makes me feel so dumb for not thinking of that xD but also sad since no one will ever write them as well as you! What I probably admired too much was how you gave a short synopsis about all the spirits you introduced in your A/N and explained the way you perceived them as opposed to what myth/legend/etc. says, it was really nice to have an A/N that was worth while to read. Well I could go on about how much I loved this fic but I'm sure this comment is already way long so thank for writing such an amazing fic!

When i was eight my foster mom locked me in the bathroom with a candle and cut the power to the room and said i couldnt leave until i did, as punishment for telling her little niece's and nephews a ghost story.
She had an elder kid hid behind the shower curtain, then she locked me in. Her excuse was if i liked ghosts so much i wouldn't mind meeting one.

oh and just in case you haven't come acrossed it, the double heart is a whovian meme so i'm not going over the top or weird with how much i love that show. Whovian as in what someone in the fandom is called not the religion. Yeah the Doctor's timeline jumps around quite a bit , once drew to help describe the timeline of the Doctor's wife , you'll get around to her before you get caught up; many a tear was shed over death a 2nd time , and i had the Doctor's timeline as a strait line to show off how much her timeline jumps around his.
