Mathmatically you just need to imagine this Opponent power : 10 Issei power : 1 Issei divides taking five away from opponent and adding it to his own making this Opponent power : 5 Issei power : 6 Please keep this in mind. I've read a lot of fics where Divine Dividing is severely underpowered and people barely notice when they have literally HALF OF THEIR FREAKING STRENGTH TAKEN AWAY, or Issei barely gets any sort of power up and still can't beat his opponent, who he should be stronger than by the first Divide. So far this fic has been pretty good in showing Divine Dividing's power with how tired Freed got. |

| Guest chapter 1 . 2/6/2017 You mentioned that if an opponebt was more than twice as strong as the wielder of the divine dividing then after the dividing they would still be stronger. This makes no sense. If, say, the opponent is three times as powerful as the wielder once their power is halved they would still be one and a half times as powerful. This must have been your assumption, but, that one and half times the wielders strength would be added to the wielders strength. This would make the wielder as strong as the opponent plus whatever the value of power they originally had. |
