truly awesome story, very very much enjoyed (mostly over at TtH after a search on who Rachel Westin was took me to your pics there).

The gun stuff/ horse stuff was perhaps a little much detail for me, but in no way detracted from my enjoyment of the story. Likewise I would personally have preferred to see less sniper Harris and more face to face, but cannot in any way fault the logical choices to be such this story brought.

Loved your depiction of Cordy, really enjoyed the redemption of Heidi (and the well deserved splat of Angel).

You took on a monster task with more characters than George Martin would have juggled and pulled it off beautifully.. kudos

And heck yeah would i like to the teaser sequel with Faith written large!

Great story, Ironbear! Very satisfying. Are the people that Faith is following X/C by any chance, or an I reading that wrong? Anyway, I also noticed that you became a donor over at TtH. Does that mean you plan on posting Night Watchmen over there, too? Hope that's the case.

Cool addendum, and nice way to alter the names (and including Charisma Carpenter in the filmography was a nice touch) to get a fictional history as 'real' as possible. I gotta agree with Red, though, the thing with the third husband needs to be fixed. And am I correct in assuming there was a lack of World War II because Hitler was killed in 1927? Makes you wonder what happened with Japan in the 1940's, if so! Anyway, well done on a great story, and I hope you publish a sequel to it sometime soon!

Interesting update, and not one I was expecting. But I have to point out an error in Rachel Westin-Chase's biography. In one section you state that she and Jock both denied being married to each other, but then later on she is quoted as mentioning the liaison and marriage to Jock. So, what's the what?

I'm looking for the DVDs of the 7 seasons of Galaxy Quest, but not having much luck so far *GRIN*

I'm also surprised that you neglected her supporting role in the Fuzzy Trilogy, as Ruth van Reibeck, they were the films that provided H. Beam Piper's comfortable retirement, after all. (if only)

Nice way to end the story. Interesting how you chose Django instead of Trick to be Kakistos's second in command! And Janus transported Faith into the Western Movie Land? Or was it someone else? Looking forward to seeing where you take this in the sequel!

Well, hell, Faith managed to free her Watcher's body - maybe soul? -, take out a bunch of Kakistos' troops and hurt the monster itself BUT she surely paid for from the crack and pain before she blacked out...

And now she's in Rio Blanco's 'verse, and from the description it's a while since Sunnydale Adventure... unless all the sun and hard work aged the appearance of Xander and Cordelia? and sounds like she's about to meet the Chase-Harris/Harris-Chase Posse...

And it's going to be freaking nuts for three of these folks once they start talking; idioms will be recognized by each group, I'd say, as not being Time proper...

Welcome back Ironbear. I got to say that I liked this. Believable storyline with situations that you never got them in without a way for them to get themselves out and not with a suspend belief incrediable coincidence act. Liked the way you worked big Western stars as well as the usual cast in a way that suited the charactors and actions. Good work. Hope this chapter leads into to another story, and you start it soon.

Well, dayum! I wasn't expecting that! Let me guess, it was Vin, Darlene, Dewell, Reg and Xan and Cordy out for an afternoon ride that Faith is on the way to encounter?
