This was a great story. I love that Reese can be everyone’s champion, even deer. I love that you have created some really poignant moments. Particularly that John’s inability to be surprised was ‘sad’. I love stories when these two are slowly figuring each other out.

They have each had so much pain in their lives, both physical and emotional. So it is always fascinating to see how they deal with it and help each other through their current struggles.
