A little late to the party as someone who stans Dave x Mindy, how is there not another chapter?!

When I was watching Kick Ass 2, I honestly thought this was gonna happen, that they were gonna kiss, then take each others clothes off and have Sex. I also thought that when they were taking the Cab Rides to the Studio or while they were Training together

Now, as anyone who knows me knows, I must criticize you. Aside from you using periods instead of commas, this story was perfect.

I was forced to watch these movies by a writer friend. He told me, from the first time Mindy and Dave met in that crack den, that she loved him and would probably wind up with him if there was a sequel. Jerk was right, too.

Oh, and my buddy told me to add his two cents-

"When Marcus finds out she's been with Dave, in more ways than one, he's going to be Ass-Kicked all over again."

Omgggggg. I loved it! I really wanted to see that happen after her date! Like honestly I thought about that happening! Anyway you did good. Really great! :)

This scene in the film, both the forest and Dave's room, I think are two of the best scenes in the film. Obviously the film itself was great, but this is where Mindy finally experiences just how cruel people her age can be. It's also where we see Mindy upset by just how cruel Brooke and her friends were. We see Mindy crying in front of Dave, to which he's incredibly surprised by because this is a state he never thought he'd ever see her in. But by going to Dave, she's acknowledging their great relationship and how he's the one person she can turn to.
Except this time, Mindy kisses him after he's comforted her. Only to be shocked by how she somehow came to the conclusion of kissing him. Only Dave wasn't shocked by it, instead he took the opportunity to pull her back in and what as to follow, is the DaveMindy "smut" (as some writers have called it) that I've come to enjoy reading!
Even though what was to follow was two friends "fucking", the context behind it made it feel as though it's far more than "just sex". Which is why I really liked this piece! At least that's how I see the piece anyway. Even if I'm wrong, I still enjoyed the story!
If 'Kick Ass 2' showed a much closer relationship between these two, like in the stories I've read on this site, I can see this being pretty close to what could have happened that night.
