Oh this was awesome! I read the whole thing in one sitting. Some of my favorites were Elrond finding the Dwarves playing in the fountains, Thranduil's shock at realizing that the younger dwarves were terrified of him and Fili realizing that Kili had been given their dad's bow, but forever was the absolute perfect ending.

...That was a perfect combination of angst and bits of light-hearted humor that had me tearing up and then that last snippet left me feeling both very very happy and very very sad. Damn it I can't take the feels ;.;

I think it makes more since that Fili and Kili's father died either before Kili was born or when he was really young. I think part of it is I like the idea that Thorin was the only father he ever knew and it would explain Thorin's relationship with him.

Regret, Resurrection, Thief, Xenophobia, and Applause were all wonderful. But you saved the best for last with Forever, making my heart swell, and caught between laughing and crying. ...Thank you for Thorin Oakenshield's Company being whole once more.

Surprising, touching, funny, warm, sad, aww-ing... That is how my reactions ranged through this set.

Line, Sour (thank you for writing Beorn!), Treason, Clash (I always KNEW the Ri brothers loved and protected one another fiercely), Matter, Human (nearly choked when reading this one), Bright, Spirit, and Throne (interesting look at the Master) were particular standouts

Aw, the last one was perfect. Gimli was dropped on his head as a child? That explains so much. :)

I can't believe this is the end of these, but not really. They were all just terribly heart breaking, espesially that last one, that was so happy and sad and so many feels. And Frerin too, all these characters. I can't wait till you write more! One of my favourite fanfic authors. You know just the write way to yank on the heart. I hope you publish a book one day, you're such a good writer!
