Capecodcanal chapter 6 . 7/19 I loved reading about Kingsley’s life and his relationship with Harry. (Did Elizabeth die on the platform? I’m curious about Kingsley’s father, in canon he’s Sacred 28. Is he in this one?). I’m glad in stumbled upon this! (I got a kick out of the teachers gossiping about students in the cafe! So true to life!) |
MrsH chapter 6 . 12/31/2015 Lovely little story - as far as it goes. But I think this story deserves to be quite a bit longer, and tell the REST of the story. I've heard the old saw about "leave them wanting more", but in this case, I think it just trailed off without reaching a conclusion. Too bad, as this writer obviously has talent, and I'd have loved to have seen where it went, and how life with Kingsley changed Harry and the future of his story. Thanks for sharing what you wrote! |
PhoenixGrifyndor chapter 6 . 6/7/2015 Oh I want to read the moment Dumbledore gives in and Harry living with Kingsley please! |
MAFITA chapter 6 . 4/13/2015 I have to say that I really enjoyed this fic! :) Kingsley is not an important character in most fanfics, so it was very refreshing to have him and his point of view prominent in this story. For a moment, I thought that Dumbledore was going to get away with it, though. I'm so glad he didn't. I'll be looking forward to a sequel. Hope to read you son in the future! Kisses! |
thekingofsweden1 chapter 6 . 2/5/2015 This was very good. The premise (get Harry away from the Dursleys) has been done many times, but it's rare to find the kind of well thought out story that this is, and rarer still to get a reluctant Dumbledore to agree. |
Engrprince chapter 1 . 2/3/2015 Thanks for such an enjoyable story |
Hobbyfarmer chapter 6 . 2/3/2015 Great story Thanks |
jilumasam chapter 6 . 11/24/2014 Well Done :D |
Confunded chapter 1 . 9/8/2014 I really enjoyed your story. I love Kingsley and you did a great job with him and harry's characterization and the storyline. Would like to see a sequel. |
serenityselena chapter 6 . 8/30/2014 interesting story :) |
yungatheart chapter 6 . 8/20/2014 A very good story. I do not believe that Harry would turn out the way he was in the book with the ill treatment handed to him by the Dursleys. I really don't like Dumbledore in the books. He runs a pretty shoddy school what with Snape and Binns and all the DA professors that were bad. He was also a pretty poor chief wizengamot guy if he could not even give Sirius a trial. I should probably write a story with Harry killing him off at the end of the first year when he told him he had to go back, maybe poison or something. Thank for the read and sorry for the rant. |
Darth's Daughter chapter 6 . 8/13/2014 This story is absolutely brilliant! I've loved reading it, and I can't wait for a sequel, which I deperately hope to see soon! |
Slytherin66 chapter 6 . 8/13/2014 Thanks for this chapter and the story. A good point about Harry turning dark he could also refuse to fight and die for the magical world as Dumbledore has planned. I am very pleased at how things ended considering what the Potter's risked and lost Harry deserves a happy childhood especially considering what is being asked of him in the magical world. I always thought Harry had been manipulated into being Dumbledore's man in the books he should have held Albus in contempt for all the suffering he caused Harry and for the mess Albus needed him to clean up. |
RebeliousOne chapter 6 . 8/12/2014 Go Kingsley! I loved how he helped Harry and stood his ground with Dumbles. It's too bad there won't be a sequel, even a few one shots of how a differently raised Harry will handle or not fall into the trap of misadventures. A more informed Harry would understand the teachers, especially Dumbledore's, would be far better than first years getting involved. He would know how to contact help, perhaps Kings. Would he have different friends? Oh well, thanks for writing this. |
randver chapter 6 . 8/12/2014 cool story. I don't know if there will be any more but I hope so. If not I can honestly say I have enjoyed reading what you've done. |
