Guest chapter 1 . 1/8/2014 You are a beautiful writer. I admit, I don't usually read these kinds of stories but I took a leap and I want to thank you for writing this story. |
DobbyLovesSocks chapter 1 . 1/4/2014 ROOOOOOOOOOOO THIS WAS GORGEOUS AND I FORGOT HOW AMAZING OF A WRITER YOU ARE. EVERY SENTENCE WAS PHRASED PERFECTLY AND IT WAS BITTERSWEET AND JUST ACK THIS WAS ADORABLE |
MissingMommy chapter 1 . 10/20/2013 This was just gorgeous. Admittedly, I've never really considered Molly/Roxy before, but this was lovely. I love how it wasn't the normal color that Roxy would describe loving Molly as. The eggshell color worked beautifully here. And I definitely liked how it wasn't the same old, same old stuff. The sentences in parenthesis are my favorites. They just set the tone for that section perfectly. And I loved the way that each section started with [It's the color of...]. It definitely made an impact. The second person POV worked very well here. I loved seeing it. Ohmygod. This sentence [you learned from them how to live without enough love]. You don't know what that sentence did to me. I was in love with it. It's a very powerful statement to be and I loved how you did it. And I loved the ending in this. This is probably unpopular opinion, but I liked how they didn't get together at the end. I liked how Roxy kept it to herself to make Molly happy. Not all love stories get happy endings and I liked seeing that here. It was just beautifully done. Great job, darling! |
autumn midnights chapter 1 . 9/6/2013 This was absolutely beautiful. RoxanneMolly is something that I've definitely started shipping, and this fic only reinforced that. You used the prompts very well, and I was especially impressed by - 'It's the color of her angel's wings, and you may be on the side of the angels, but you aren't one, and that means you aren't enough.' - this was both a lovely sentence, angsty and gorgeous, and also a great use of the prompt. The second person works very well, also, and the fic flows very smoothly. SPaG was great, just one thing - "Don't you want it, too?" She asks. should be "Don't you want it, too?" she asks. The angst in this was wonderfully done. Roxanne's heartbreak and unrequited love was just really understandable, and I think you did a great job characterizing the two girls. I love Quidditch player!Roxanne, also - I think it just makes sense, in my opinion. Really great job! |
dimitrisgirl18 chapter 1 . 8/12/2013 *squeaks* Rochelle, I believe we've had the discussion about your perfection, right? And me becoming an octopus? Yes, well, I'm pretty sure you want me to /permanently/ become an octopus and have to go live in the ocean where they have no WiFi because this fic did not just tug at my heartstrings, it literally cut my heartstrings out of my body and jumbled them up. "(It's the color you walk on when she's in love. Again. And still it's not with you.)" Right here, you get me. You get me ridiculously into this story and it just keeps getting better (or worse, technically :)) as the story progresses. I was emotionally conflicted, because, as Roxanne does, I was really happy about Molly being happy, but I also really wanted Roxanne to confess her love :3 There were ridiculous amounts of perfection in this story, as well. I also love how her relationship with Molly evolves, yet stays the same. Roxanne's feelings grow stronger but she's /always/ the perfect cousin and best friend and it makes me octopus. D: "Because it's the color that is every color, and when it shines through glass, it makes a rainbow." This line gave me those little goosebump shivers that I get when everything is so beautifully tied together. And this whole story was just. Amazing. And I love you so much for this. I leave you with this, because I love you: keenan/35-terrible-puns -to-brighten-your-day THANK YOU SO MUCH. THIS BROKE ME BUT IT WAS INSANELY GORGEOUS AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL :3 Allie |
