So I go to post a review, and realize that...i already did in March! Haha! Told you I come back to this story. And look another shitty health day. Anyway, I have said other compliments of this story before, but I wanted to add I love that Emma was the one to read Killian so well in this story. It was almost as if in that strange rift in time before the world was about to explode (which you really captured that anticipatory, transitional period beautifully! The hurry up and wait feeling was ominous and almost another character in of itself, it was called Neverland.) that Emma had the ability to see in such unrelenting clarity and merciless truth cause she was taking stock in that moment of what she had left to lose. I have been in situations like this where you seem to gain a sixth sense or a third eye, but you are up against a deadline and rarely are able to do anything helpful, productive, or impactful about it. So, this was just a really interesting idea, with well written angst and dialogue (oh my god you have dialogue even in their body language- that's how good you are), and the love scene was amazing. I LOVED that Emma said I love you. I love that killian couldn't say it back, because honestly Emma could afford to in that moment and he couldn't. Wow, okay sorry for this book report. I have to admit that I have read this story maybe 4-5 times over. I don't think I have reviewed it. It's really lovely and thought out well, and so well written. My God I love what I call smart angst. Anyway, I felt compelled to let you know on another terrible night (I have a life burdened by the worst health) life has handed me, this story is one of my favorites to come to read again to bring some comfort and distraction. Thanks for sharing your time well spent in your talent.

I read the maelstrom story. Now I'm wondering why you never finished it. Very well conceived and well written up to where you left off...I read you were going to go to law school. I'm guessing that took or is taking all your time and you don't have time to write any longer :(. I'm writing this April 25, 2015...frustrated at reading incomplete stories but oh well...at least this 2 ch short story was complete. I just wanted to read more by you because you're an outstanding writer...maybe someday you'll be back but honestly I doubt it with your studies and career plans. That was stunning! Really, amazing... I haven't been a what you call "Hook/Emma shipper" for a very long time but I've been reading a lot of fan fic the past couple of days and I must say you've captured the characters better that anyone else up till now. This is how I imagine it actually could've happened on the show (though probably without the M content, regretfully :)). And bravo on the "I love you"-thing. At the end, I actually went back to read that part again because I was so sure that Hook had said it. Wel done, can't wait to read your other stories.
