Explain the thing about the stagehand and Meg in Phantom's lair not finding the Phantom but after they leave, the mob finds him there sitting like a lamb and kills him. This doesn't make any sense to me.

That seemed like a very Erik thing to do... I do like that this is about Christine instead of Erik all the way. It's good to hear her thoughts once in a while.
