The last line at the end totally made up for the bit of sadness at the end of the first chapter.

I really liked this, Eve though you broke my heart for 5 minutes.

The prequel to this was absolutely adorable and oh so sweet though with a tinge of bitterness in that. It's definitely in my Top 5 favorite Merricup fics and this sequel was just as endearing if not more so! I just squealed to myself as I read that last line because this was such a charming and beautiful pair of fics for this magnificent pairing! I love them both!

I always read and enjoy your stories but the mention of new zealand just gave me the urge to review. We are rarely mention in stories, fanfics and novels alike so *fistpump* validation!

This is the best Mericcup fanfiction in an AU I've ever read. I like it that you took the description well. The way you just described things and what happened vaguely, yet it gives readers a good idea of what happened is perfect. The characters were in character, as far as I know. The dialogue is impressively realistic. In a way you practically made them characters of your own, adifferent Merida and Hiccup. Fanfiction like this should get published.

That last sentence almost had me falling of my chair while laughing like a maniac. The only reason I didn't was that it's 3:40 am while I read this and my mom sleeping two rooms over. It took a heckofalot of self-control, though.

I just read "I'd build you a world" and then went straight to this fic here. I really liked both fics, though I've got to admit, the end of the first was way to kitschy-mushy.

Other than that, awesome all around.

Absolutely one of the best fan fiction stories I've read on , and not just in the RotBTD crossover series. I really love the way you write, you are very talented.

I've already praised your modern AU to the edge of the world and back, so I'll keep this review a tad bit shorter. (no offense)

Of course, I liked the Eiffel tower scene. Because. Well.

Good job adding the detail about her being pick-pocketed. An unfortunate reality of going abroad, handled by both characters like they actually would have handled it - Merida especially *snorts*.

My favorite part about this story was actually their fight, and the aftereffects of them splitting up. Because honestly, when you're with someone 24/7, especially in a situation so stressful as traveling, no matter how much you love them, they will begin to get on your nerves like nothing else. Also, I can def. see Hiccup becoming a jealous boyfriend - in his own way, mind you. That is, quietly, not loud or obtrusive about it, but definitely jealous all the same. And Merida wouldn't have a clue until he was very seriously upset about it.

Merida's call to Jamie just made me love that kid all the more, even if he's irritating a ridiculous, he has real heart, a feat I need to applaud. I actually wanted to jump through Merida's phone and hug him.

Their fight was realistic but also heartbreaking, of course, because when they split up I was just all 'nooooooooooo!' like the fangirl I am. But their make-up scene was just as good, just as realistic, but infinitely more squee-worthy.

But my very favorite part of this story is the very last line, because I still smile whenever think about it. Because he didn't just wear a skirt. He TOTALLY wore a skirt.

I'm so glad you made a sequel! I love the whole "kissing each other on top of towers" thing. That really ties in nicely with the first story. So excited for the next chapter!

That was a nice little sequel. I liked how they had an argument with each other, like in a real relationship and how they managed to make up.

I have actually been to some of the places they were in so a bit of a nostalgia trip for me.

I love how Merida and Hiccup slowly learn each other in this piece. You're absolutely right; there's a world of difference between seeing someone only on the weekend versus being with them 24/7. I love my best friend but if I was stuck with him all hours of the day for a couple of weeks? That'd drive me insane and I totally think Merida more so since she loves going off on her own.

I love how the marriage was broached! :D Nice segue, Merida. And it's totally in character as well for Merida to be the first to kind-of-sort-of-not-really propose, LOL. I wonder... will Hiccup ever do it properly later? Properly as in get down on one knee type shebang.

Another great chapter and ending. I loved this Modern AU and the relationship building they had throughout this. I can't wait for what you think up next! :)
