You know... I really liked this one. You captured the mindset that's displayed by Squall throughout the game quite well, and really hammered home the potential impact of his delving through the rather surreal imagery that bombarded him end-game. And that last sentence? Glorious.

Wow, great story! You've done quite a nice job of portraying Squall. I like how you've mixed his persona in without compromising the narrative (I find some first-person stories to be quite dialogue-ish). I really enjoy your take on the dream-like images he experienced when he was trapped inside the time-compressed world, searching for Rinoa, and his relief when he sees her in perfect clarity on the balcony.

I hope you do more FFVIII stories; I would definitely read them!
