This was an amazing story, no other way to put it. I couldn't stop once I started. Like oh my god, the heart ache! The laughs! The tears! You made me feel it all! I have kinda veered away from modern fics, but you have my faith restored ten fold. I cannot wait to read the sequel! *insert major fangirling*

Just found this story and must say it's really good.
However, there are about 100k words and there is no tendency clear until now - which is good, because I like long stories and speculations.

So let's come to the speculation, because you are facing the main challenge of all reincarnation fics:
Why bringing back these idiots?
At the end of the show: all so called 'villains' were dead and Camelot had all advantages: a super powerful Emrys, a supposed to be perfect queen and a super strong army... final result Magic vanished. Why?! You could say that Uther (and after him) Arthur and his 'Camelot gang' succesfully finished their war against magic. I know it is not very popular to write this, because Camelot are supposed to be the 'heroes'. But let's be honest, all of them are very similar to politicians nowadays - saying one thing, but actually doing the opposite.

So, why would these guys reincarnated? It seems magic is already dead (except Merlin and Morgana). From Camelot's POV, they would say they are back to stop the evil MAGIC of Morgana, but is that true?

OMG Have you written the sequel? I see one but it's only like 3000 words. For years I've tried to avoid modern AU's because that required acknowledging the terrible ending of the series. Now I'm reading them and this is one of my favorites. Where is Gaius? What is Morgana up to? What is Mordred going to do?
