it would be hilarious if Nanoha Earth used to be Al Hazard, which was what people in the future had been calling Potterverse Earth, and the fact that it went missing was because of Fem Harry's ritual of rebirth (because it sounds like Nanoha earth is/was a displaced potterverse earth)

I haven't read many good pkm/hp xovers so I'm excited to see if this one goes anywhere!

Haven't actually READ many Harry is Sephiroth reborn fics… but I CAN believe that it would wind up being a common plotline.

Now on a related note, I actually had an idea for a series of fics where the main character was Sephiroth's TRANSMIGRANT*. Basically, Sephiroth, after his defeat in Advent Children, is weakened to the point that the Life Stream becomes a threat to him. He can either cling to Gaea and have his being eroded away... or he could shield his core self, but be swept away into the greater cosmos.

So, Sephiroth eventually winds up on another world, and without his regular means of returning (no Genova cells to give him a method of reviving) he instead takes the first chance he gets... by merging with a compatible soul whose on the verge of dying and empowering them.

The two ideas I had for this were Naruto (say he fails to draw on Kurama's chakra when thrown into the ravine) and Harry (bit by the Basilick), and in either case, their hair would turn Silver, and they'd where a similar outfit as sephiroth but using clothing from their respective culture (so Naruto would wear a black haori with Silver Samurai shoulder armor).

*Transmigrant meaning that a more powerful soul merges with a compatible one... which is my explanation for how Naruto and Sasuke, the Transmigrants of Asura and Indra, could exist at the same time as Madara and Hashirama, their predecessor Transmigrants.

I really like this story, shame that it hasn't been continued
