Great story. My only gripes are first, why wouldn't she just carry her cereal to the table (with her good hand) and sit and eat it like a normal person? No reason to stand and eat. Secondly, I know it's central to the story and artistic license and all, but there's no way her hair would get wrapped up in the disposal just from dangling in there for a minute. It'd have to be turned on and spin to wrap it around and tangle it. Regardless, very enjoyable read.

Awww. I love this! Sherlock getting upset and protective when it came to her injury was so adorable. And then he washed and brushed her hair for weeks. I liked how he uses that as an excuse to make his less than platonic feelings known to her. Loved the ending! I hope you write more Joanlock!

I've never watched this show, but I loved this. The snide remarks are hilarious, and I enjoyed the scene where he doesn't bring the soda because he sees right through her charade.

Wow...just...wow. This story is perfection. I could go on and on about how there's a perfect balance of fantasy, character integrity (you can't just insert the names Joan and Sherlock into any old story) and writing techniques (the "in or out" moment was inspired), but at the end of the day it comes down to talent and passion for the subject-which you have in spades, my friend.
