Welp, I just happened upon this story, and I may or may not have read the entire thing in less than 2 hours. I'm not confirming anything. *whistles innocently* *folds hands behind back* No confirmations here, nope, nope.

I don't know if someone's already commented about this or not, but is Audemus Alabama? I looked up Audemus and it translates to "We Dare to defend or rights" which is Alabama's motto and its on its coat of arms

While rereading for the first time, I noted some things:
1. Michigan is not Tie Up, Envoy, or Capital. In the story chapters, the story refers to his eyes in the plural form, while Michigan only has one eye on him.
2. Capital was almost definitely in New York's group, as he bugged England and France-and them only. Not the other nations. The male states in New York's group were the following; New York, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
3. Neither Tie-Up or Gust are Western states, because when the Western States arrived, chapter 16, which mentions them, had already happened.
4. In prior chapters, Maryland is described to be able to detect any lie. He hadn't detected the lies that Group Anti-Alfred had been saying, so...SUSPICIOUS (this is OPINION, NOT FACT)
5. The states I have trust in: Rhode Island, Missouri, Colorado, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina. I trust them because Capital's POV has direct interactions with them, and he referred to them by state name, instead of nickname like he did for Tie Up and Gust.
6. "Audemus" is on the Alabama coat of arms. Very suspicious... (JUST A THOUGHT)
7. "Her" in chapter 23 was probably New Mexico, considering that she was the only state outright threatened by the Anti-Alfred people. Envoy is shown to care about her...*looks at Nevada. (JUST A THOUGHT)
8. Cuff is Envoy's neighbor, and female.
I've been reading pretty deeply into this story, and saw the prior reviews. Before I reread, deducting this info seemed impossible, but it wasn't actually as difficult as I anticipated!
