Matthais Unidostres chapter 39 . 2/19/2018 Well. . . I'm glad to see you kept up Kyurem's review style and personality through and through. I have trouble finding the words to explain his attitude. Passive aggressive? Vaguely interested? Sarcastic? Anyway, all I know is that I love it. I also love how the climax is both anti-climatic and climatic at the same time. The jokes are always balanced, and the tone of Kyurem's critiques is always so unique to him. Plus, Cryogonal always felt like a unique character who tries so hard. Also, I can't believe you remembered that Keldeo the Critic Movie I gave up on! If I ever start reviewing again, I have to make that a running gag! Finally, that ending slideshow tied it all together, and was actually heartwarming, which is unbelievable considering it's Kyurem we're dealing with here. It was a great adventure, following this review series. I'm interested in seeing what you have planned next. Also, thanks for the Keldeo the Critic cameo. |
Imperator Justinian chapter 39 . 2/17/2018 You finished on your 39th chapter. This is unacceptable; I demand a 40th for the epilogue to satiate my OCD. And then a 41st for the epilogue of the epilogue. And a 42nd for alternate ending. You know, just keep going until 50 when you can then announce the prequel to the inevitable sequel. In all seriousness, this has been quite the ride (with more than a few speed bumps to allow passengers to evict the contents of their stomach in peace), and a five-in-one review is well worth the wait for the finale. Also, congrats on being the first critic to give themselves a proper sendoff - no need to throw Kyurem off a waterfall or have him sucked up by a plot hole and then return. The only creepypasta missing was Sonichu (I'm not sorry). I'm just surprised Kyurem didn't create an Aurora Borealis in his room after that duel with Origin Mew (okay, I am sorry for that one). In all seriousness, there couldn't have been a more proper finale - right down to your cameo as the big bad. Well played. It's sad seeing this end - in part because it makes me realize how long it's really been, but also because it's making me reflect on my own situation. I'm glad that, either way, you were able to stick it out to the end. Thank you for four and a half years of insight and laughs. (My first review made the list! He likes me, he really likes me!) |
rangerfan1996 chapter 38 . 2/17/2018 worst fanfic EVER! |
Imperator Justinian chapter 38 . 12/25/2017 (You forgot to mention I make a mean soufflé too. Shame on you.) I was happy to have dragged you out of retirement yet again to do another special - and I think it's safe to say this is the most special special we've made yet. Also, you need to get that grand finale up before Disney buys you and puts it out themselves. |
Diaboromon Tamer chapter 21 . 12/23/2017 Kyurem, you need to take a chill pill (no pun intented.) |
Jacob9594 chapter 38 . 12/24/2017 I enjoyed Kyurem’s reaction to ORAS along with the others |
Guest chapter 37 . 4/17/2017 My condolences, Kyurem. Nobody, human or Pokémon, should have to deal with all the crap that flies out of Lavender Town. |
Guest chapter 37 . 12/25/2016 Well I would much prefer an anime rewrite to the other way to make Ash smarter - an Ash betrayal fanfiction. |
Imperator Justinian chapter 37 . 12/10/2016 Will be concluded in the next episode of Critic Wars: A New Hope. In all honesty, to be concluded is one of the best things I've heard this Christmastime, and I eagerly look forward to what you come up with. (When Kyurem mentioned stoner I was expecting the gift to turn out to be some 80's Anti-Drug PSA [or worse; Jerry Springer], but this is obviously better.) Heh, though I suppose I really have roped you out of retirement, if only for a little while longer. Thanks again for doing this collab with me, and Merry Christmas (and hopefully Kyurem won't wreak bloody vengeance on us, but that remains to be seen). |
Jack Storm 448 chapter 36 . 1/6/2016 Holy Miltank; double the stories, triple the critics, and a 'bad writing' coefficient of over nine thousand! Seriously though, that second fic was so bad it was actually painful to experience; even with the three of you ripping it to shreds which, by the way, was hilarious. I couldn't even count the number of internet memes in this chapter; although it was fun to try. All throughout this chapter I was constantly switching from cringing, to laughing out loud, and back again in a matter of seconds; it was actually pretty exhausting. Just like you guys, I had to take a break in the middle of the review; it was just too much to handle all in one sitting. The three of you did an amazing job on this review; especially given what you had to slog through. I truly pity you all for having to witness it first-hand. In any event, I look forward to seeing what Kyurem reviews next; that, and now he manages to get Full Court cleaned up. Until then. |
ShadowKnight49 chapter 36 . 12/25/2015 Everybody... XD I just realized I had forgotten to gave this. Then again, I forget a lot of things... Zekrom: Such as letting us go back to critic business? Reshiram: Yeah, what about us?! Me: Crud! I forgot about you guys!(yes, I honestly forgot I'm critic) Well, Murry Christmas! |
thejazzienerd chapter 21 . 11/29/2015 Celebrating ORAS... At two in the morning... When Kyurem's trying to sleep... I think the Cryogonal have a death wish. |
thejazzienerd chapter 17 . 11/22/2015 Maybe this was an inside joke I'm not aware of, and maybe Kyurem will come freeze me solid for telling him that he's wrong, but "Cobalion" is spelled with one 'l'. Always has been. |
thejazzienerd chapter 13 . 11/22/2015 Am I a terrible person if this doesn't scare me? Most CreepyPastas don't get much of a reaction out of me. I honestly think TatsTopVideos' Top 22 Gaming CreepyPastas countdown video is scarier than any of the actual pastas. |
thejazzienerd chapter 5 . 11/21/2015 I have to admit, most pastas I've read are not very good. The only ones I keep going back to are ones that aren't scary, so much as they are disturbing and sad. |
