I love this story so much! I thought I'd reviewed and I might have but I have to leave another comment.

This is such a cute piece, and I love how much Harry cares for Hermione.

Another story I should’ve reviewed before this.

Crooks is a singularly with it Familiar, but that’s simply canon. He gets Harry to Hermione, helps him to get her to open up, then Harry does the rest. Crooks is right that it is a first step, but having made that they will follow it through.

Makes me wonder as just how Hedwig would have brought them together.

Oh my goodness, this is too funny and adorable! I absolutely LOVE Crookshanks' voice here lol XDD He's a delightfully "pretentious little bugger" as you so perfectly put it lol.

Also, on another note: this is probably the closest thing to "Ron bashing" I'm willing to read, because it's more "Ron critical," I think. First of all, Crookshanks' POV helps, but also, if we're talking solely of how relationships can sometimes end badly, I can imagine Ron and Hermione eventually devolving into a toxic relationship (NOT abusive, just not healthy; people tend to confuse the two or overlap them) until it ends. That's nothing against Ron personally, it simply means that Hermione is not for him, and he's not for her, and their relationship brought out their bad sides. Basically, I appreciate that you didn't take it too far (regardless of your intentions), but just enough where it makes sense in a tragic, bittersweet sort of way (underneath the hilarious snobbery of Crookshanks' voice, that is).

Also, I approve of Crookshanks' devotion to Hermione. It's too precious! And I do love how he's a Hermony shipper lol XD Definitely another stamp of approval from me, who's been shipping Harmony since middle school! XDD Very cute fic!

Ron is in NO WAY a good match for Hermione, he's lazy, jealous and selfish, all the things Harry isn't.

Ron is like a loyal dog, he's great until he goes all over the furniture and you have to put him down because he has rabbies.
